Good morning. Macs brother and wife in CA have received their first vaccination. His brother is 71 and wife must be 65. Macs cousin in NC has her vaccination. She must be 65 also. And here we sit in MA with nada for our age group. Maine doesn’t have 65 yet but at least has over 70. Every one of them had a very well managed drive through. I don’t see any drive through here and despite the cold see absolutely no reason why. I know Uxbridge is planning one.
I’m not sure where Governor Baker derailed but he sure did it in a big way.
That said, I also have two call Sutton BOH. All neighboring towns sent out an email for folks to sign up to be notified when they are eligible. Sutton was not one of the towns.

Massachusetts continues to rank below average on the vaccination chart. Shameful. West Virginia and North Dakota are the best states thus far. Redder than red. This tells us that it’s NOT the political affiliation of a state than matters, it’s the organizational ability of whoever is in charge; Republican, Democrat, or Independent.
Hopefully Biden will be able to assist states like MA in getting vaccine supply and distribution. NY state is really bad as well. I heard they have already used up 97% of their supply.
In this instance and even with Biden’s help, imo this lies squarely on bakers shoulders.
I agree. Unfortunately it’s now up to Biden to bailout these incompetent governors.
Although the previous administration was no help either. It all became about the “election results” instead of the health of its people for the last two months.
