  1. Starting next week I think I’m going to put up only one of these C-19 posts for the week instead of every day. I can edit so the comments remain “useable” instead of closing out for 7 days instead of the current 3 day setting. I will continue in the 1 per week format until the time this section is able to be discontinued (hopefully sooner rather than later).

Having one per week will not change much as you still won’t have to scroll back more than 6 days on the recent post list to get to it. 🙂

    1. Thanks TK.

With Joshua no longer “active” I was wondering if this side of the blog should be discontinued. Unfortunately, we don’t have anyone else in the medical profession or at least someone like Joshua with a fair amount of medical knowledge that can contribute with updates and answer basic questions or concerns. Fortunately, Covid-19 is almost in the rear view mirror so to speak. We are certainly in much better shape than last year at this time. I like the fact that tv is now being bombarded with Covid-19 and flu vaccine ads during prime time and periodically during the daytime.

We do need to get through this upcoming winter for perhaps one more round of Covid-19 as well as this RSV in children which I never heard of up until now.

Thanks Joshua for all of your help these past 2-3 years with this side of the WHW blog. I hope your son can get better soon and can be placed in a facility more suited for his needs. 🙂

Interesting though that WHW never attracted any doctors, nurses or medical technicians. I guess medical professionals just don’t really have much time to contribute to a weather blog.

Thanks again TK for setting this C-19 blog up in the first place! 🙂

TK – Have you decided on one specific day for posts yet?

      1. I’m not sure Covid is in the rear view. I think we have just decided as a whole to not monitor it. There were 7,318 confirmed cases last week. You can multiply that by a minimum of three….many I’ve read say seven. There were 86 deaths.

        1. I would like to think that we have decided not to monitor it, is because it is no longer as much of a threat to our health it was, especially in the beginning days of 2020. Mostly thanks to the vaccines. Haven’t deaths and illnesses been greatly reduced? Relatively speaking of course.

I believe RSV is much more of a threat right now as hospital beds have been filling up rapidly lately throughout the nation.
