  1. Thanks TK. It’s been in the mid 50s here which would be welcome in more typical years. Oddly I felt chilled all day and I’m never cold.

      1. It is tough for the body to adjust to I guess. Even my kids were shivering so guess it isn’t only the old 🙂

  2. I think sw of Boston here got lucky with another nice day today, sun was warm before clouds became more dominant this late this afternoon.

  3. Wondering if anybody still thinks the winter that never came goes out with a bang, I know several bloggers were saying it’s “possible” I respectable disagree and havent and dont see it and think its never gonna happen, oh I’m sorry it’s unlikely, thanks Vicki 🙂

    1. I don’t know that anyone was saying it was possible Charlie. I tend to think the feeling is that it is not impossible. Fine line but huge difference :). You know – that new glass I’m getting for your birthday:) 🙂 Either way I just don’t think anyone knows or was saying one way or the other. We haven’t even been able to get a handle on a storm a week away this season

            1. I know I’ve asked this question before but not sure if I got an answer. When does it become not an anomaly that march is a relatively snowless month? This is the 3rd march in a row with no snow, let’s say the same thing next March happens with no snow to make it a 4th march with no snow, is it still an anomaly or is it just normal? Let’s say it doesn’t snow in March for next 4 yrs is it a anomaly that it snows? Is it a anomoly that it snows in April bc it usually doesn’t snow in April, my sil has been here since 2009 and it came up and she said she and her husband have not seen snow in March yet since they moved here 3 in a half years ago. have a great day everyone 🙂

              1. It will take at least another 7 years to even be considered, and it won’t happen anyway. 🙂

  4. it was such a nice day today that my percussion group had practice outside.
this year has been disapointing for the seniors in the band. our freshemen year last place. softmore year and junior year got all first place senior year all first place and then tied for second by .2 of a point.
winter percussion so far this year. first compition 1 place, second compition tied for 1 place, third compition tied for first, 4 compition 2 place, and today we destroyed them all by a solid 5 points now no compition next week and then finals 🙂 the difference between this compition yes we did better but we beat everyone that is in our division. all the other compitions had everyone there. 1 place out of 11 groups not to mention its our first year doing a marching percussion winter program.

  5. I can’t believe April is this weekend already, going down to cape for 3 days at end of week, when I look at models it looks like a warmup at the end of this week and be back around 60 degrees. Can anyone else agree or disagree, I notice tk said we won’t hit 60 degrees for a while, but then I look at several models and alot of them say 60+ by this Friday, can anyone add?

  6. Question……just trying to get an idea of temps long term……

When I see a forecast of 850 mb temps being btwn 0 and -2 Celcius…..assuming a day with no precip and at least 50 % sun with a land component breeze, what would that roughly translate to as an afternoon high temp ?
