  1. Thanks tk 🙂 I did see a forecast this morning agreeing with you that next week we could have showers increasing, they even mentioned consecutive days of showers

  2. Thanks, TK.

All we had last evening was some rumbles of thunder that went off and on for a few hours. We might have had a light shower – not sure. I kept hoping we’d get some rain. If it thunders, especially in the current dry situation, at least let it rain!

  3. 6z GFS did show some instability for next Thursday but way too far out there and will change. At the moment that looks like our only shot at precipitation for the next week.

  4. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! 🙂

Too bad we can’t have these nice cool temps are only good for the next 24-48 hours.

      1. Although, like TK, I love all weather, I am enjoying the cool, however not really crisp, air today. I like being outside and having windows open as opposed to AC.

      1. He would have been booed off of the planet! I would have loved to see that. Too bad we won’t. It’s going to be a great night for sure regardless.

        1. Yes it will be a big night. I believe it is traditional for him to be at this game. He should be able to handle some boos…well deserved as they would be 🙂 Spineless.

  5. I do have to say, We are a pisted off fan base, there is alot of alcohol which is not a good mix, we could have seen a really ugly seen. Even though other fan bases can be rowdy and class less for the smallest thing and nothing is said about the rowdy fans even if they throw crap at the officials or someone of authority. The patriots have a reason to be really pisted off at this one guy but its the patriots, people all ready hate the team and dislike those who cheer for them, If the patriot fans get really rowdy and start throwing crap on the field and at authority figures such as goodell It would worsen the image of the patriot fan base. I am kind of happy he is not coming even though it would of been a huge f-u to him, I hope he is forced to hand over the trophy to the patriots at foxborogh

    1. Agree!! Don’t throw anything at authorities, we r a very classy fan base, and most are just jealous, if we lose no one would care 🙂

  6. We were near story land for the last couple days and be weather could not have been more perfect. And the rest of the weekend back home looks just as good.

  7. At the gym and saw 2 7 day forecast with no real hot weather, saw a few days at 86 and 88 degrees was the highest, but cooling later in the period to around 80 with showers.

    1. Can we just enjoy the nice weather man while it’s here please. There is a very high shot at a heatwave starting Monday.

      1. According to Eric, Logan has a shot at a record high temp for Wednesday. The record is 91 (1971) and he is forecasting a high of 93.

      2. John I never said I wasn’t enjoying this wonderful weather we’ve been receiving the last few weeks, just stating what I saw 🙂

    2. Where are you seeing these forecasts? What outlets? I have not seen anything matching what you told me, but you never seem to give me an answer as to where you saw any of this.

      1. And specifically said on both station showers look likely Thursday/Friday and Saturday, we shall see 🙂

        1. Well days 7,8, and 9 are not typically high-confidence forecasts. But I suppose if a few models have it then I it’s just easy enough to “go with it”.

  8. Eric says that the persistent drought could significantly affect the fall foliage especially in SNE. He believes NNE not so much since they have had much more rainfall the last few months.

TK – What does lack of rainfall do to foliage? Eric did not say specifically.

    1. Enough dry weather can shorten the period of foliage color for some trees and dull it for others. Some sections will be impacted more than others if the overall dry pattern is dominant. It will come down to little details. The next 3 weeks will be telling.

    1. The neighborhood is out. I love it. And it doesn’t feel cold to me at 30 so I’m not a good judge but felt great. Love the earlier dark every day also

  9. New post!

    Have a great weekend!

I’ll be in Boston much of this afternoon and evening, Maine and NH beaches tomorrow all day and evening. Working for a while on the holiday itself then home to enjoy a cookout in some late Summer heat.

The updates will be posted when I can do it otherwise will check in mobile from time to time. 🙂
