  1. AccuWeather Trivia Quiz.

The latest sunset in Boston this year occurs on …

    A. June 12th
    B. June 21st
    C. June 26th
    D. July 4th

    Answer later today.

      1. Huh? They won 8-7? I saw the news last night and saw
Texas 7-4. I must have been 1/2 asleep and thought that it
was the final. Apparently the game was still ongoing.

        Sorry about that.

However, PRICE still SUCKED OUT THE JOINT!

Thanks for setting me straight. 😀

  2. Next reasonable batch of instability doesn’t appear to arrive until the
4th of July, some 9 days out. We may not even see any rain until then the way
things have been going. Not impressed with This Tues/Wed that’s for sure. Still time.

    1. Is that the Hamptons? Oh wait a minute, wrong state. Umm Must be
      Hampton Beach, NH. 😀

  3. Thank you, TK.

On the weather: Couldn’t be more beautiful.

On the Sox: They’re proving me wrong, and I’m happy about it! Two straight great comebacks.

On Brexit: Bloody awful. Speaking as an economist, the most important thing for an open economy like the U.K. (and they’re MUCH more dependent on trade than we are) is free trade, capital flows, and mobility of persons to travel to and from the country. The U.K. benefits more from EU migration than most other European nations. Now, all of that is gone. The nail in the coffin of what was once a great empire.

    1. Joshua. I was hoping you’d weigh in. I am not as well schooled as I should be and value your perspective. Thank you .

  4. 76 here with a rather robust sea breeze.

    72 at the airport

82 at Bedford and 81 at Lawrence.

  5. If the Sox pitching was on par with their hitting, I believe they would easily have the best record in the AL if not in baseball. I just hope they can remain in contention well beyond the All-Star break.

    1. If their hitting ever goes into an extended slump, they will fall out of contention fast. The pitching is practically “non-existent” AFAIC.

  6. I don’t see anyone running away with the AL East. Every team in that division has weaknesses. To me in that division who is going to pull off the big trade to get their team over the top.

    1. You make a good point Jimmy! The Sox need a big trade for another starting pitcher. Price is not very reliable considering the big bucks spent on him. He seems now to give up just as many runs as Buchholz and the others. My issue regarding a trade is sacrificing a hitter but I guess we have enough to take up the slack on offense. Still a long season to go.

  7. I was watching MLB network the other day and they were talking Sonny Gray from Oakland might be someone the Red Sox go after. I totally disagree about Jose Fernandez being available especially if the Marlins a month from now are still in the wild card hunt.

  8. Hello from Gloucester, Ma.

    Dinner at Lattitude 43.
    Great food. Hanging around
    After dinner. Headed home
    A tad later.

Hmm what is the lattitude of Gloucester. Must be awfully close.
