    2nd Quiz.

What factor is the least important in the formation of frost?

    A. Temperature
    B. Dewpoint
    C. Wind
    D. Cloud cover

    Answer later today.

    1. Bills needed a loss in the division, so that wasn’t a bad thing with respect to division standings. But yea, Miami, not so much.

On another note, Charter cable got a CBS feed,, but it’s not coming from ‘BZ. Verizon Fios has it, but it’s not a BZ feed either.

      1. Interesting re BZ and I tend to go more for loss of nasty team than loss that will benefit us. Seems to me it is a real win when our opponents are whole and play their best. Yes, I may be a bit nuts. But I yam what I yam 🙂

  2. Pats are running hot and cold. They’ve had chances to put Pitt in a home more than once and can’t quite do it.

  3. Pats look like the better team, but an uncharacteristically mistake filled half is going to keep them in a close one.

      1. Exactly. All greats go through it. Williams asked to have his salary cut when he was in a slump….and I know I’m repeating but I figure that is something that bears repeating

  4. Pats managed to get it done… Lot of mistakes by both teams, we were very lucky that Pittsburgh was under-manned. A conservative game plan on both sides of the ball made for a lack of excitement, but the W is all that matters. Showdown in Buffalo next week.

Meanwhile… The latest RAP and HRRR agree on a narrow stripe of .2-.4″ of rain in a narrow band south of the Pike very early tomorrow morning, best shot of that near and south of the CT/RI border. Rain totals will probably be unimpressive for the most part though. Still not an overly wet pattern being modeled for the next couple weeks, but better than what we’ve had for the bulk of several months. Next shot will come at the end of the week. Early indications are for 0.5″+ rainfall for late Thursday-Friday.

  5. patriots seemed not to play to their full potential today, but won. Something people do not understand is that they changed the air pressure requirments of the kicking balls as well as Gillette field being altered for the REVS making the field much softer which also affects the placement leg of the kicker.
