TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy. Lows 27-35, coldest in southern NH and mildest Cape Cod. Wind W 10-20 MPH with higher gusts.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs 40-48. Wind NW 10-20 MPH with higher gusts.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows 22-33, mildest Cape Cod. Wind NW 5-15 MPH with higher gusts.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs 38-45. Wind N 5-15 MPH with higher gusts.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. Chance of snow showers. Lows 24-32. Highs 35-43.
TUESDAY: Sun followed by clouds. Chance of rain at night. Lows 22-30. Highs 40-48.

DAYS 6-10 (DECEMBER 7-11)
A low pressure system will impact the region but probably with only light rain, for December 7. A front may bring rain/snow showers on December 8 before fair weather and a little colder for later in the period.

DAYS 11-15 (DECEMBER 12-16)
Pacific jet stream pattern. Variable temperatures and hard to time low pressure systems bringing precipitation threats, but one should be around early in this period.

  1. Thanks TK as always!

A newscaster this morning mentioned “The Madden Curse” in reference to Gronk…What exactly is this curse?? I never heard of it.

  2. Thank you, TK.

Chilly tomorrow night for towns who begin their Christmas festivities. Lots of celebrations in this area. Sutton has its chain of lights and then the caroling, tree lighting and Santa on the common. I absolutely love small towns. Also, residents can sponsor a tree; so there will be a tree lit in Mac’s/Papa’s memory.

    1. Thankfully I will be in the warmth of the Quincy Marriott attending my company’s Christmas party.

I love that there will be a tree lit in Mac’s memory. <3

  3. Thanks TK
Cowboys out played so big time last night but very happy we found a way to win the game. When a team does that is a mark of a great football team. Yes we got away with a penalty on the tying two point try but let’s look at other things in the game and how it should not have come down to that non call. Dez gets wide open in 1st Qtr on blown coverage takes to the one yard line we score on next play and Vikings punt returner fumbles the ball at 10 yard line we recover and score. The two big mistakes they made in the game we took advantage and scored touchdowns.

    1. the refs blew that game, it was appalling, and they wonder why they are losing viewership. I use to watch other team games and have them run on the tv, this year not so much. I only been watching the patriot games.

      1. I agree with you they blew the call but go back and read my post about the two big mistakes the Vikings made prior to that in the game where we scored two touchdowns. Those two things don’t happen it would not have come down to that play.

  4. I am not saying Super Bowl yet. We still got tough games left against the Giants, Tampa Bay, Detroit, and Philadelphia. What is amazing is were 11-1 yet we still have not wrapped up the division yet. As I said yesterday the Giants and Seahawks scare me and talking to another Cowboys fan at work he and I both agree we don’t play in Seattle for playoff game with that crowd. To be outplayed last night and the mistakes we made turning the ball over and penalties and to win the game is impressive.

    1. JJ, I’m officially on your Cowboys bandwagon this year. I think they have something special going on and will win the SB over the Steelers.

  5. I hope that happens. A lot of people have been saying what you said this team is special. Will see. The last Cowboys Super Bowl win was over the Steelers. At least one thing and I have not been able to say this in a long time but our future looks bright.
Tonight as a Cowboys fan I am looking forward to a football life Troy Aikman on the NFL Network at 9pm.

    1. Don’t forget Dallas vs. Oakland as a possibility. I thought I heard somewhere that if the Patriots and Raiders are tied that the Raiders would get home field for an AFC Championsip game. Is it common opponents or what? Not sure.

  6. JPDave…Thanks for the link about the Madden Curse. Hopefully, TB never gets on that game. Having said that, IMHO Gronk is just plain injury prone. He was in college as well.

    1. would not get my hopes on it, the system for the 12 has basically gone poof, the system that was on it for about 3 days. Its now basically a cold front with some rain and snow. Followed by the big storm that you see on the 12z gfs. There looks to be storminess, problem is will everything align just right for it to be a snow storm. The gfs has been struggling with what will be the dominate area of energy. First making a good size storm just for it to go west of the lakes and become an upper level low with a series of weak low pressures.

      1. Believe me not betting on it. It’s just nice to see them appearing.
As I have said previously, sooner or later one WILL materialize.
Nice to see the pattern active. Checking the Euro shortly. Of course, it doesn’t go out that far, but we’ll see what it has
for the next 10 days. 😀

  7. Euro appears to be forecasting some cooler temperatures. Not outrageously cold,
But day time highs in the 30s, nightime lows in the teens and 20s. Quite a stretch
of it at that for about day 5 or 6 to day 10 with about 2 inches of snow for Boston.
We shall see about all of that.

  8. Its nice that there is at least on both the 12z runs of GFS and EURO there is a chance for some snow. Now let’s hope we see the white stuff.

  9. Same idea as yesterday. Not many snow chances to be found around here over the next 2 weeks.

Some models would have you believe otherwise, but that’s how it goes with the models.

    1. Saw that and started to look into how often it happens. I read about a foot. Ans that it usually occurs down to 9,000 ft and then I got side tracked.
