  1. Thanks, TK…
Quiet in the hallways are at MHS.
Me thinks many Sachems are heading to the parade!

Thanks to everyone for the great discussions on tornadoes here on Monday. Good stuff!
Although one fatality is too many, it is wonderful that many lives are being saved in severe storms as the study of weather and technology advances.

  2. By the way, Vicki, congrats and blessings on the birth of your latest “grand”!!!
You are going to have so much fun with the holidays here, starting tonight with Halloween!

  3. Autumn foliage seems to have found Sutton. Colors are dull but quite nice. We were amazed as we drove east on 16 yesterday at the bare trees. We still have 90% leaves intact and the trees that rim our two streets are just barely showing a sign of turning.

  4. Thanks TK.

Most of the Northeast probably looking at ~2-4″ of rain in the next week or so, locally higher. Been a very wet autumn.

    1. ….and summer.

30″+ at my house since June 1st! And no end in site, at least through mid November.

    1. Thank you, coastal for sharing this. I have been watching Windows to the Wild off and on for some years. My husband and me used to do day hikes in the 90’s at Wachuset and the Blue Hills; as well as Broadmoor in Natick. Nothing as nice as the White Mtns. which I never did but wanted to. Due to husband’s back our hiking days are over – but we do take occasional walks. Nice to see Barry in this video.

      1. We take or kids to hike Wachuset and Blue Hill. We want to try Monadnock but our three year old is getting pretty heavy in the back pack so we may have to wait a bit.

  5. 2nd floor of Gardner hospital with my Grandmother, she is out cold, but watching the sun set over the lake and some hills covered in an orange gold, is a cool site. With respects of my Grammie she is stable and will recover

  6. Awesome Halloween weather. This must be about the seventh I was able to sit outside to hand out candy. No jacket
