Wednesday Forecast

7:35AM

DAYS 1-5 (APRIL 24-28)
A cold front moved through the region overnight with more wet weather, and some low level moisture is trapped in the region early this morning, but a drying trend will be underway soon, and later today through Thursday will be decent as high pressure takes over the weather. But as advertised, the next low pressure area will be quick to move in and bring more wet weather Friday to early Saturday, leaving behind drier but blustery conditions for Saturday. The next unsettled weather system arrives Sunday but does not look too impressive right now.
Forecast details…

SUNDAY: Clouding over. A period of rain or showers possible. Highs 56-63. Wind variable 5-15 MPH.

DAYS 6-10 (APRIL 29-MAY 3)
Dry, cooler April 29. Transition with clouds and potential light rain April 30 or May 1 with a chance of getting into a warmer air mass. Probably back to the cool side of a boundary thereafter with some additional unsettled weather possible.

DAYS 11-15 (MAY 4-8)
Expecting the region to be near a boundary between warmth to the south and cool air to the north, with additional unsettled weather at times and a continued uncertain temperature forecast.

  1. Sue, I have a feeling you can feel the collective warm hug from our WHW family. I’m thinking of you and sending prayers, hugs and love.

  2. In terms of the turkeys and that males are the only one that attacks humans. that is a myth. The females will attack if you get to close and also will expect you to give her and her chicks lots of space.

  3. Thanks, TK…

Sue, sending you best wishes for a complete recovery. Take care of yourself!!! πŸ™‚

The birds in my yard must be Bruins fans as they were singing happily this morning!

Fantastic Game 7! There’s nothing better in sports than a NHL playoff Game 7!
Another one tonight with the Caps and ‘Canes!

    Onto Columbus!

  4. Good morning and thank you TK.
What time would you expect the rain to start on Sunday?
    “Hopefully” after Noon.

    1. Big job in Scituate ( Minot beach ) Sunday need dry till after 4pm. Sue I sincerely hope you are feeling better & everything is ok.

      1. Early afternoon is between noon & 2. But keep in mind we’re talking about 4 days away.

  5. A few signs that Saturday’s clearing may be delayed and that Sunday’s wet weather may be ahead of schedule. Uh oh! The weekend’s closing in from both sides! πŸ˜‰

  6. April has always been the month I dread…while it has been warmer than normal, it certainly has been dreary.

  7. A quick update for Sue. Tests showed that it is a medical issue that they feel can be treated with medication. Sue will be in the hospital for another day or so.

  8. Weathewise if has been yet another glorious day. Hard to motivate myself to get off the deck and start something for dinner.

  9. Nothing but a rainy pattern over the next two weeks. This is a reason why I would move from NE. April and early May are delightful in many parts of the country but around here forget about it. Soccer and baseball just get ruined this time of the year.

    1. We also have some of the best weather in the country from August through October. So it balances out. πŸ™‚

  10. TK, how long does the rain look to hang on in North Conway area Saturday morning?

I need to set up the table saw outside to make a couple of cuts and paint some trim. It doesn’t look too promising as far as I can tell.

    1. Let me take a quick look at the latest short-range and then I’ll address that on the next blog.
