    1. This pattern is a few days away from breaking. The overall regime is warm into October, but I don’t think we’ll see any long lasting tropical stretches after this one…maybe a day or 2 here and there.

      1. TK- Sorry to be a pain, which upcoming days look to be the wetest, I was thinking today was going to be a washout. 6-0 NY,
not good. Huge pats game tomorrow. It would be nice to be 3-0

        1. I never felt today would be a washout. Glad to have stuck with that. I think the wettest of the next 5 will be either Tuesday or Wednesday.

  1. Last weekend we had fall in summer and this weekend we are having summer in fall.
I think the Pats go to 3-0 tomorrow but Buffalo looks a little improved from a season ago.

      1. I hope your both right about the Pats, but am concerned that injuries and odds that Buffalo will beat the Pats one of these days are in play………..With that said, I have far more confidence in the Pats winning a game today, as opposed to the Red Sox, who play 2.

  2. My friend lived up that way and was a huge bills fan, why would he not be living up there. He is a pats fan but loves his bills. He is having some of us over tomorrow to watch the game. If pats blow It I will never hear the end of it. I was teasing him last night saying I am coming over wearing a bills shirt, yea right.

    1. My husband has lots of relatives from Rochester and I have a few business associates. All are PATS fans. Go figure

  3. The Bills had their chance 4 straight years making the Super Bowl and could not win and have not made the playoffs since losing to Titans in what became known as the music city miracle game in 1999.

      1. I lost my $275 weekly pool last week by 1point. Heading to the cape codder halloween weekend, that would of paid for that on a $5 pool, its payback time this weekend.

        1. Well that iS not good. Sorry John. My SIL says it’ll be 45-21 pats. I’m nervous about the game. But that’s not new:)

  4. 12 hrs, 2 minutes of possible sun today in Boston, then under 12 hrs starting tomorrow until next March.

No snow way up north at the Kimmirut cam…..Barrow, AK cam (though it is down for repair). The North Pole web cam picture had snow on it yesterday, so at least its cooling down somewhere.

Go Pats….I’d say Sox too, but they’ve lost me with their recent play.

  5. 0h that 00z GFS is really something…
Basically a stalled low over us for days, but this time we are on the cooler side of things.
    Something to watch 🙂

  6. That start by Lester was dreadful yesterday. If they make the playoffs the way they are playing now I don’t see a deep run into October. They started out bad and they look to be ending the season on a bad note.

  7. It was funny watching that clear slot develop over eastern MA only to be filled in by stratocumulus (still a few breaks of sun though).

  8. TK from what I can see the weather in Europe where I am heading looks terrific? Temps in the 70’s and sunshine unless I am missing something.

  9. Hadi and longshot. My husband grew up in Europe. His dad worked for Goodyear international. I’ve been telling him about your trips. He is green with envy. Enjoy!!

  10. I know it’s not weather related but I LOVE Welker. I don’t begin to have in depth football knowledge but from the second Welker came on the scene it was obvious he has a tremendous talent

  11. Longshot – I am glad you are enjoying your trip!

    Hadi – Enjoy your trip!

I envy you both – I have never been to Europe, ‘though someday I would love to visit the British Isles and Ireland.

I am tired of this muggy weather, but I keep telling myself that come next Feb./March I will be wishing for this weather, so I am trying to enjoy it.

      1. hahahahahaha (not really laughing – just at the irony) – I have been walking around in a daze since the game ended just saying UGH

          1. I don’t know. Ocho messed up. The ball off a helmet and interception was a fluke. Green Ellis stunk and don’t know why they ran him instead of Ridley who was hot in the two plays where he was included. I think brady overshot woodhead some but his hands were On the ball so …..Id say it was a team effort. Of course I have no real idea what I’m talking about.

  12. TK,here is your forecast & MY COMMENTS:

Berlin… 17 Sep: Sunshine, clouds late, high 70. 18 Sep: Lots of clouds, periods of showers, high 60. 19 Sep: May start cloudy with a shower, then clearing, high 65. 20 Sep: Partly cloudy, high 68. 21 Sep: Mostly sunny, high 67. 22 Sep: Mostly sunny, high 65. THIS WAS ON THE MONEY, THOUGH IT DID RAIN ALL DAY ON 18TH

Warsaw/Krakow… The entire period 22 Sep-27 Sep should be dry because it looks like a ridge of high pressure is going to park itself over them. Don’t rule out overnight and early morning fog though! Daily highs in the 70s! Just have to watch for one little front scraping north of the region on 22 Sep which, if strong enough, may send a few showers through the region. THIS IS ON THE MONEY SO FAR. TEMPS ARE UPPER 60’S & LOW 70’S. FRONT ON THE 22ND DROPPED DOWN AND HUNG IN A TAD LONGER.

    1. I’m learning once again that “minor” looking systems almost always produce more rain over that part of the world than it looks like they are capable of….

  13. Thanks rainshine!!

Vicki I work for a travel company here in Boston so it’s one of perks:).
Longshot is on one of my company’s trip right now in eastern Europe and having a good time from the sounds of it!

  14. Getting back to the Patriots comment when your quaterback throws 4 interceptions that is not a good thing. I give the Bills a lot of credit once again for the second straight week they came back and won after being down. Who would of thought after week three they would be undefeated at 3-0 and leading the AFC East.

    1. They are hungry and a young team. That’s what worried me. You are right that you can’t win with four interceptions. It wasn’t pretty.

  15. I said a few days ago if Buffalo could beat the Patroits that is going to open some eyes. To me in the early stage of 2011 season they are the biggest surprise but we still have a long way to go.

    1. I agree JJ – I want the PATS on top but somehow seeing the Bills finally getting somewhere is fun to watch – well, not when they are playing us !
