A band of clouds exited the region to start the day, otherwise we saw a sun with passing clouds and a gusty wind, though it was still mild with high temperatures over 60. Today, cooler air has settled in with high temperatures failing to exceed 60. Wind will be a little lighter than yesterday and high pressure will provide another day of fair weather. Another cold front will move quickly through the region tonight with a few clouds, but no precipitation due to a continued lack of moisture. This will lead to an even cooler day Monday, though the gusty breeze that greets you in the morning will drop off later. High pressure moves right over the region Monday night &#8211; the perfect radiational cooling set up to send much of the region below freezing for Tuesday morning low temperatures, except some immediate shore locations and urban centers. Tuesday itself will be another nice day, and after the cold start we&#8217;ll see a decent temperature recovery during the day. High clouds will be noticed streaming in from the west and northwest as the day goes on. These clouds will thicken up Tuesday night into early Wednesday along with a brief chance of rain. This will be a warm front passing by and will lead to fair weather and above normal temperatures for the middle of the week, and the final two days of October. A cold front will be approaching by Thursday, but the early idea is that any rain shower threat from this system will hold off until after Halloween evening activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TODAY: Sun and passing clouds.
