A disturbance is crossing the region this morning. This disturbance has a little more punch than I expected it to, giving me a bit of a wake-up call with extensive clouds and even some scattered showers and isolated downpours around southern New England. The clouds will be the most prominent feature of this disturbance and not so much any rainfall as it hangs around and then finally wanders away during the course of today.<\/p>\n
The only tweaks to the previous forecast besides for today will be to add a risk of thunderstorms to Sunday afternoon as it looks like the atmosphere will be a little more\u00a0 primed to pop something. Also going to bump temperatures up slightly for the first half of next week.<\/p>\n
