We get into the real heat in southern New England for one day, Tuesday. Though Wednesday may still be hot, it won’t likely be as hot, as at least some clouds, showers, and thunderstorms will be around, as a cold front drops through the region from the northwest. This front will hang not far south of the region through Thursday, so bringing complete clearing into the region is not something I am going to do right now. That will have to wait until Friday, when a push of cooler, drier air will invade the region, lasting through Saturday. High pressure sinks to the south by Sunday, when it will already start warming up again. This may lead to another bout of heat and humidity early next week.<\/p>\n
