Daily opportunities exist for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms – though mostly isolated. Also, as previously mentioned, placement, coverage, and timing (occurring potentially outside the “afternoon to early evening time frame”) can be influenced by a couple of passing small-scale disturbances, so staying “weather-aware” at all times is a good idea, especially if you have outdoor plans. Very warm to hot air and high humidity will also be the rule, so plan accordingly (sun protection, hydration) if outside a lot. The greatest shower and thunderstorm chances are today and Saturday with a lower chance Sunday and Monday. Tuesday, a cold front sweeping across the region brings a better chance of widespread shower and thunderstorm activity, but it’s a little too soon to say much more about this at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TODAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy.
