Enjoy! (I will, it&#8217;s the first day of a 6-day weekend for me.) Some patchy clouds move through tonight marking the exit of high pressure offshore and the return of a more humid southwesterly air flow which will be noticed on Thursday. A disturbance approaching from the west can trigger a shower or thunderstorm, particularly over inland areas, late Thursday afternoon. This disturbance will then cross the region overnight to early Friday with clouds and shower chances, maybe a few thunderstorms in the mix too. A cold front still has to cross the region on Friday and can ignite a few more showers and storms, particularly in southeastern NH, eastern MA, and RI, in the midday to mid afternoon hours. This sets us up for a spectacular weekend with high pressure building in and giving us abundant sunshine, seasonable warmth, and low to moderate humidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TODAY: Mostly sunny.
