DAYS 1-5 (SEPTEMBER 29 \u2013 OCTOBER 3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s all over ‘cept the low level moisture! All that remains of our multi-day storm now are low clouds hanging around with relatively high dew points near the ground and the absence of stronger wind, now that the low center has weakened and pulled quite a distance away from our region. These clouds will be stubborn to break today but will do so enough to allow some partial sun in some areas. So overall it’s a much nicer day than the last few have been. But really nice weather follows this as we close September tomorrow and welcome October Thursday and Friday. While a couple weak disturbances go by from west to east with a few episodes of clouds, the overall trend is for surface high pressure sliding just to our south and then offshore to bring us fair weather and a warming trend, which now looks like it will go right through Friday. This is due to a slower timing on the expected cold front, not coming through until Friday night, when there is a shower threat. We warm sufficiently so that the afternoon temperatures on Thursday and Friday will feel late summerish but without high humidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAYS 6-10 (OCTOBER 4-8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There’s uncertainty in the outlook for early in this period as some guidance takes low pressure to our south and other guidance takes it right across the region with wet weather. Leaning toward a rain chance in the October 4 to early October 5 time frame, but follow updates. Afterward, drier with a cooling trend is indicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DAYS 11-15 (OCTOBER 9-13)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indications of a split flow pattern with a dominant northern jet stream taking a couple systems through our region with mainly brief shower threats while an emerging southern jet stream takes a storm system south of our region early in the period. We would have to watch the southern stream system should it come further north. Otherwise look for an up-and-down temp regime and more dry than wet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
