The feel of summer will be with us today ahead of a cold front, which brings a few showers across the region and puts an end of the brief warm spell tonight. This sets up the region for a seasonable and pleasant weekend with plenty of sunshine Saturday as high pressure builds in. Sunday will feature sun which will then give way clouds as a wave of low pressure heads our way from the southwest. This system will only skirt the region with the best chance of rain near the South Coast later Sunday or Sunday night. That system departs overnight \/ early Monday and sets us up for a breezy, milder day ahead of a sharp cold front. The latter does bring the chance of a passing shower that afternoon before the coolest air mass in quite some time arrives Monday night and Tuesday with the return of fair weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TODAY: Sun is dominant into afternoon before clouds increase and bring a shower chance west to east later in the afternoon. Highs 76-83. Wind SW 5-15 MPH gusting 20-25 MPH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TONIGHT: Clouds and a shower chance progressing into southeastern MA & RI early followed by clearing. Fog patches toward dawn inland lower elevations. Lows 52-59. Wind NW 5-15 MPH, diminishing overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SATURDAY: Abundant sun with passing fair weather clouds. Highs 64-71. Wind NW 5-15 MPH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SATURDAY NIGHT: Clear. Lows 42-49 except 45-52 coastline and urban centers. Wind N under 10 MPH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SUNDAY: Clouding up. Rain chance favors South Coast late day. Highs 61-68. Wind N to variable up to 10 MPH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. A rain chance early Cape Cod. Lows 50-57. Wind variable to S 5-15 MPH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fair weather and below normal temperatures early in the period then a recovery to milder mid period. Another cold front brings a shower chance then a return to cooler weather toward the end of the period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
