The busy, gusty wind of last night has diminished and Halloween 2026 will be a fair, cool, and tranquil day. High pressure builds over the region today and tonight making this the case, and will result in a quick cool-down this evening from the 50s to the 40s but with very little wind for outdoor activities. Remember also that this night is longer than usual by 1 hour, as we flip the clocks back at 2:00 a.m. Sunday in the transition from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time. Sunday and Monday will feature unlimited sun, but a different kind of limit will be noticed when the sun sets prior to 5:00 p.m. – ’tis the season! A weak disturbance passes by to our north Tuesday with some patchy clouds, otherwise as we head toward midweek high pressure slips offshore and we start to get into a milder southern air flow. By Wednesday, we may see some additional cloudiness this timing coming in with increased moisture from the south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A trough from the west and moisture from the south combine for increased shower chances November 5 and a more widespread rainfall on November 6. This system shifts off to the east thereafter, though upper level low pressure lingering can keep some clouds around along with a gusty wind and cooler weather heading into the first full weekend of November before high pressure settles in at the end of the period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
