As August arrives, we’ll watch a cold front sweep across the region Thursday night and Friday morning, bringing some showers and thunderstorms to the region. This will set up a decent first weekend of the month, though we cannot rule out a shower or storm sometime on Sunday. Looking into next week, though we’ll be in a mean trough position, the weather will be largely dry with the air seasonable to cooler than normal.<\/p>\n
