High pressure dominates for the Columbus Day holiday with fair and mild weather. A weakening disturbance from the west will bring some cloudiness later Monday night into early Tuesday before high pressure re-establishes itself with nice weather later Tuesday into Wednesday. A cold front may bring a few showers to the region Thursday. At the end of the week it appears we’ll be in a westerly flow with mostly dry weather, some clouds from time to time, and a trend to cooler weather, though there is some uncertainty due to medium range model disagreement. Fine-tuning will be done as it gets closer.<\/p>\n
