The cool pool of air over the northeastern US will sink slowly to the southeast and allow a surface low to move southwest then south in the waters east of New England, keeping the weather unsettled through Tuesday. Some improvement is expected by the middle of the week as this feature moves away to the east and a very weak ridge of high pressure tries to move in, but is replaced by low pressure to the south by late in the week with a threat of more unsettled weather. The uncertainty of Spring means it is not clear how quickly the weather will improve heading into next weekend, but for now will go for steady improvement.<\/p>\n
