Low pressure offshore nudges just far enough eastward for some clearing today but throws another batch of clouds back at southeastern New England Wednesday. Another system takes its place late in the week with more cloudiness but for now leaning toward the bulk of any rainfall staying offshore. We’ll see how fast this second system departs as it is the key to the weekend forecast, in terms of the level of improvement. Will lean optimistic for now but keep in mind that if that low doesn’t get out of here fast enough, it will impact the weather at least for the start of the weekend. If high pressure sets up just right we could have a legitimately warm day Monday with the exception of the South Coast, but that is many days away.<\/p>\n
