There is one change to make, however, and that is to forecast a frontal boundary north of the region on Sunday to slip far enough south to position itself to become a back-door cold front that may invade southeastern NH and eastern MA sometime during Monday. Also, a little more detail can be added for Tuesday, regarding the track of Subtropical Storm Ana, or whatever remains of it, as it may be close enough to bring a period of rain to parts of southeastern MA and RI. \nTHIS EVENING: Lots of high clouds region-wide with patchy low clouds in southern coastal locations. Temperatures ranging from 55-60 immediate shore to lower 70s interior. SE to SW 5-15 MPH and gusty.
\nOVERNIGHT: Low clouds form along with patchy fog. Lows in the 50s to near 60. Wind SW 5-15 MPH.
\nSUNDAY – MOTHER’S DAY: Low clouds and areas of fog to start, then partly to mostly sunny with most low cloudiness lingering across Cape Cod. More humid. Highs 60s Cape Cod and South Coast, 70s immediate East Coast, 80s elsewhere. Wind SW 10-20 MPH with higher gusts.
\nSUNDAY NIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy. Patchy fog. Lows in the 60s. Wind SW 5-15 MPH.
