\nYes, the pattern is still in blocking-mode the next few days, but we’ve managed to get back to the fair weather side of the block, as we were in April. Other than a disturbance aloft passing by today and causing some clouds and a few isolated showers that should be mostly north of the forecast area, high pressure will generally be in control with fair weather through the middle of the week. I’m going to lean to the optimistic side and forecast the fair weather including a warming trend through Thursday. By Friday, an approaching front from the west should at least bring cloudiness and probably a shower threat.
\nTODAY: Sunshine with intervals of clouds. A slight chance of an isolated shower mainly in southern NH but possibly in northern MA. Highs upper 50s to middle 60s. Wind W 5-15 MPH, gusting above 20 MPH often.
\nTONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear. Lows middle 30s to lower 40s. Wind W 5-15 MPH, gusting above 20 MPH at times.
\nTUESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs middle 60s to lower 70s. Wind W 5-15 MPH with a few higher gusts.
\nWEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny. Lows middle 40s to lower 50s. Highs middle 60s to lower 70s.
\nTHURSDAY: Mostly sunny. Lows upper 40s to middle 50s. Highs upper 60s to middle 70s.

DAYS 6-10 (MAY 14-18)…
\nA broad trough will traverse the northeastern USA during this period and will bring several disturbances and a couple fronts through the region. The weekend of May 14-15 will likely feature a few episodes of showers but there will likely be periods of fair weather as well with a slight cool-down overall. Another round of showers or rain may occur early next week, favoring May 17, as a cool-down continues.<\/p>\n
DAYS 11-15 (MAY 19-23)…
