A slow-moving cold front will take 2 days to cross the region Tuesday and Wednesday with several opportunities for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Widespread and beneficial rainfall is still unlikely with this frontal passage, however. High pressure pushes in Thursday and Friday with a return to fair weather.
