If you are in the Boston area, summer weekends don’t get much better than this one. Saturday: Lots of sun, a few developing fair-weather clouds, not too humid, very warm but not overly hot, light sea breeze coast. Sunday: Lots of sun, turning more humid, a bit hotter, light land breeze. Admittedly, I’m sure some of you that are not fans of heat won’t like Sunday as much, but when you think of classic summer weather, you know a day like that is going to be part of it here at times. We can thank a high pressure area sitting over us for the great weather this weekend. However, as this high builds offshore and a cold front moves in from the west on Monday, the stage will be set for thunderstorms which can occur over about a 12 hour period. We’ll have to watch for some severe thunderstorms, but I don’t expect a widespread severe weather outbreak at this point. Once we get by the storm threat of Monday, more great summer weather is ready for the balance of next week!<\/p>\n
