\nHigh pressure to the north of New England sends a northeasterly flow into southern New England today, which then shifts more southeasterly by Wednesday. Low pressure approaches from the west later Wednesday into Thursday but weakens during its passage over the region. A second, slightly stronger low comes along with its center probably passing just to the south of the region Friday and lingering offshore into Saturday. The trend is for cooler and eventually more unsettled weather with this pattern.
\nTODAY: Sun to start, then clouds moving in from the ocean (northeast to southwest) more solidly in the NH Seacoast and eastern MA coastal areas and less so further south and west. Highs 48-55 but may drop to the lower 40s eastern coastal areas later in the day. Wind NE to E 5-15 MPH.
