\nAs advertised, high pressure provides fabulous weather for the USA’s birthday today, and then continues it tomorrow as well. After that, the high slips offshore and humidity returns Thursday. By Friday, an approaching trough and cold front from the west will bring the risk of showers and thunderstorms, though a few days away it is difficult to know timing and frequency of these. There are indications that the front will move along swiftly enough so that a drying trend takes place on Saturday.
