The 3-day stretch of summery weather continued today, with one more to go, thanks to high pressure offshore and a southwesterly flow of air. Late this week, we’ll have the feel of Fall, as high pressure builds out of Canada and sends a much cooler air mass into the region. Transition day on Thursday will be marked by showers as a cold front slowly crosses the region. Much of the shower activity will occur behind the front this time. I’m not expected an outbreak of thunderstorms ahead of the front, just a slight chance of a few pop up storms Wednesday afternoon mainly far to the west of the Boston area.<\/p>\n
