DAYS 1-5 (APRIL 23-27)
\nLow pressure drifts slowly away to the east today, and although there will be a slight drying process it will stay generally overcast. A frontal system crosses the region west to east in the early hours of Wednesday with more unsettled weather, followed by some improvement later Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure approaches then moves over the region. The active pattern means the next low pressure system will be quick to move in during Friday with more unsettled weather, and although this should move on out of the area by Saturday, it will do so while intensifying, so the drying weather will also be cool and breezy.

\nLots of transitions as one system moves through with a rain shower threat April 28 followed by a quick shot of fair and cooler weather for April 29, then a warm front lifts through April 30 or May 1 with a warming trend but some additional unsettled weather before the front drops back to the south again with a cool-down.
