DAYS 1-5 (MAY 3-7)
\nI often profess my contentment with any kind of weather, but I know many of you are tired of hearing about unsettled weather, so I’ll keep this forecast short, although, for you, it’s not all bad news. There are some nicer days starting to show up again in the forecast. But first, another unsettled and cool one today, brief improvement Saturday, downhill again Sunday as another low pressure wave passes by, and then 2 better days to start next week as high pressure settles in and pushes the unsettled weather away to the south.

\nTONIGHT: Cloudy. Areas of fog. Patchy drizzle evening. Rain showers likely. Slight chance of thunderstorms overnight. Lows 42-49. Wind light variable.
\nSATURDAY: Mostly cloudy to partly sunny. Rain showers ending west to east early to mid morning. Highs 52-59 coast, 60-67 interior. Wind light variable.

DAYS 6-10 (MAY 8-12)
\nTransitional pattern gets underway here but not exactly sure how it evolves yet. I think this 5-day period may feature a westerly flow and still a couple unsettled weather systems coming through, but on the weak side with limited rainfall and more seasonable temperatures overall. \nStill watching for the potential for a spring block with a cut-off low somewhere and still too much uncertainty on if\/when\/where to be sure how the weather turns out during this period.
