  1. Gov. Baker pointed out that cases in Canada spiked two weeks after their Thanksgiving last month. I guess it happening here in the U.S. is inevitable?

    1. Depends on how smart we are. Having a small & safe gathering with my mom. Every single precaution and safe-guard will be used.

  2. Boston Common frog pond ice skating is cancelled for this year.

I can’t think of any event this year that hasn’t been cancelled or at least greatly modified other than the changing of clocks (EST =>EDT=>EST).

  3. Researchers from Brigham & Women’s Hospital is developing a nasal spray that can prevent the transmission of respiratory viruses by capturing and killing the inhaled aerosols in the nasal cavity. The pocket-sized spray coats the nasal cavity for up to 4 hours without irritation or sensory impairment, and can be used as a barrier when masks aren’t feasible such as when eating and drinking. Researchers will test the spray against Covid-19 soon. The spray is drug free and will be cleared via mucus and expelled from the body through digestion 3-4 hours after use.

  4. Drs.Vivek Murthy, Marcella Nunez-Smith and Atul Gawande all have connections with BWH. They will be part of President Elect Biden’s COVID-19 task force.
