  1. I saw on the morning news that more than 75% of MA residents have had at least one vaccination. Sadly, I bet that this is the highest in the nation?

    1. Thank you, Scott. I have been watching for something along this line and would have missed it if you had not shared. This is exactly what Dr Faust from Brigham said a few weeks ago. I shared a few links here that explained waiting for more data.

This gives me more confidence that once approved, I can feel more assured that it was not rushed. I was very concerned when Biden said he wanted six months rather than eight to be the goal. He needs to stop pushing and let the experts do their due diligence.

    2. Unfortunately, I am unable to gain access unless I create an account or subscribe. As for the booster that I received on Wednesday, I still feel fine. My health care provider was the one who highly recommended it. I bet it will be required for “full vaccination” eventually anyway.

      1. I think concern is heart irregularities. You didn’t have any that I’ve heard you mention. I have not seen anyone who doesn’t recommend the booster for folks who fit the autoimmune criteria.

  2. A couple of reports tonight. To our credit, the US relied heavily on Israel for booster info. But it only uses pfeizer. So pfeizer May still be approved by Sept 20. Moderna submitted required docs today. So it may be approved for booster /third vac by Sept 20.

The WH was told not to get ahead of the agencies. It of course did

Just more muddying the waters and creating vaccine hesitancy. Good grief. He need to listen to his advisers.

  3. Dr Wen and Dr Faust are on CNN with Anderson cooper. I’m typing what they say and will post tomorrow. I like dr wen and have mentioned her before. I am becoming a huge fan of dr Faust

    1. Dr. Wen is great.

U.S. is plateauing at an extremely high Katahdin-like peak: Cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. Just when one state improves a little (Florida), others go haywire (Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina, Montana). I’m very discouraged about the situation. I think a 7-day average of 2,000 deaths a day next week or the week after is a definite possibility. UK had >42,000 cases today, most since mid July. I think the UK will head right back up to and beyond 50,000 a day, with between 120 and 210 deaths a day.

        1. New faces are sure surfacing in this. I mentioned Wen a while ago and neither of us knew who she was. Faust also. We sure know now
