  1. To me this is the definition of stupidity. See link below. Short-sighted and the opposite of pro-active. In this country we still have MANY vulnerable folks who need boosters. We’re not even trying to reach them, or make it easy for them. I’m talking 1st boosters, not 2nd! It’s extremely inefficient and costly to have these done at pharmacies and doctors’ offices. Oh well. https://www.boston.com/news/coronavirus/2022/03/31/states-close-mass-test-and-vaccine-sites-but-uptick-in-virus-may-loom/

  2. I have noticed recently that pharmacies in all CVS stores now close every day for lunch. I guess pharmacists are so overwhelmed these days.

Have you seen this in your travels, Joshua?

    1. Ours out this way always have but they were getting complaints so now post a sign. Don’t know if that is the same where you are

  3. 13 year old granddaughter has a headache and sore arm from her second vax yesterday. 15 year old grandson has a headache and 100.2 fever. His normal is 97.8 so that is a true fever for him.

    1. I’m sorry to hear this. But, these side effects are certainly in the range of normal. Wishing your grandchildren well.

Philip, I have noticed the pharmacies closing for lunch. Sort of like Spain, where they close for their lunch (siesta). Hours generally have been cut in many places, from pharmacies to coffee shops like Starbucks to hardware stores. Shortage of staff, perhaps.

      1. And don’t get me started on the lack of cashiers at Stop & Shop and Star/Shaws markets. No more than 1 or 2 maybe 3 at most.

  4. Massachusetts cases are rising steadily. Positivity is also increasing. But, it’s not alarming. Let’s see what happens in the hospitals.

Ottawa, Canada, is reporting its worst wastewater surveillance data in terms of Covid-19 presence since the beginning of the pandemic. And this occurred rather suddenly. The spike in the graph is almost vertical since last week. I’m hoping this is not what we’ll see here.
