I learned a new word this morning while listening to early morning radio:
TRI-DEMIC: Covid-19, Influenza, RSV all in play this upcoming winter according to health officials.
I assume it means “3 different viruses spreading all at once.”
I looked it up to be sure. The word does exist.

Thanks, Philip. I had not heard the word either. Denise Dewald tweeted a few days ago that it would make a whole lot of sense to reinstate masks, especially in school, with the three viruses causing hospital overloads.
I’m not much of a fan reinstating widespread indoor mask mandates but I hope the tv ads for both Covid-19 and flu vaccines continues. I am happy to say that they are on so much now to the point that I am actually getting “sick” of watching them, not just on prime time but even during daytime programming as well. It’s now actually hard to avoid them. 🙂
It will be interesting if mask mandates eventually return to schools. Another can of worms with some parents though if that occurs.
You know how I feel about parents dictating rather than science. I can pretty much guarantee masks will not return to schools.
