  1. Global daily deaths total today shattered the record. We’re at 9,000 and counting. Europe is seeing dramatically increasing death totals. We’re also experiencing constant attrition if you will: 1,200 dead yesterday.

My latest is on how election impasse and transition period will negatively impact Covid-19 response: https://www.forbes.com/sites/joshuacohen/2020/11/04/unclear-presidential-election-results-mean-there-will-be-no-change-to-covid-19-policy-until-january/?sh=7b77b4754132

    1. Fingers crossed that Biden can pull it out. I wish though that he didn’t make that “speech” this afternoon. Technically he didn’t “declare” victory but still, he should wait until there is NO path whatsoever for a Trump victory. Most states have TONS of RED within them.

      1. Agree.

Massachusetts numbers are dismal today; highest number of confirmed cases (1,714) since April, I believe.

        1. Is it possible that the horrible numbers today in both MA and the US are the result of some catch-up from the weekend and election day? I hope so.

      2. I thought his speech was one of calm and patience and reassurance. Such a welcome difference to me

As an added bonus, never ever ever believe your vote doesn’t count

Sutton is a deep red town. Trump took it in 2016 by 65%.

Biden took Sutton yesterday by ONE vote.

My youngests husband was not going to vote. He figured it would not matter here. My daughter insisted he vote. He is now taking credit for the win for Biden
