TODAY: Cloudy. Areas of fog in the morning. Episodes of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, especially during the afternoon, with some heavy downpours possible. Greatest chance for heavy downpours will take place between 3PM & 6PM but also cannot rule out breaks in the clouds and even a hint of sun in the western sky before it sets… High 65-70. Wind E 5-15 MPH.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Showers early. Low 50-55. Wind S 5-15 MPH shifting to W.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy. High 62-67. Wind W 10-20 MPH gusting around 30 MPH.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear. Low 43-48. Wind W 10-15 MPH with higher gusts.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny. High 62-67. Wind W 10-20 MPH.

MONDAY: Variably cloudy. Low 46. High 64.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy.  Low 51. High 66.

WEDNESDAY: Chance of rain. Low 50. High 62.

THURSDAY: Chance of showers. Low 48. High 60.

  1. TK, thanks for the update. It seems like especially good weather for the Patriots game. It also seems we have a large Caribbean low which may develop a little but not hit the US mainland.

    No change to the thunderstorm index which remains at a 1 since I don’t think we see severe weather but as I said yesterday I would not be surprised to a see a few strong thunderstorms.

  3. Hey TK…all extended forecasts including NWS that I have seen has rapid clearing come next Thursday. What do you see at this time that the others do not?

    1. Euro has been consistently pessemistic around that timeframe so I cannot ignore it at this time. I have noted that the 00z run is a little more progressive but a trough axis remains nearby so I will only edge slightly back away from steady rain for now, and we’ll see what’s up on the next update.

  4. Warm sector pushing through south shore. Winds have become South/Southeast and the dewpoints are almost 70F.
