The Week Ahead

2:01AM

This week starts out with a record warm Patriots Day & Marathon Monday around southern New England as yet another unseasonably warm airmass invades the region. A cold front will whistle through during Tuesday, starved for moisture, with a second front on its heals for early Wednesday. These fronts, will knock temperatures down as we head into midweek. Fair weather will dominate during midweek and into late week. By the weekend, some unsettled weather is expected as a new trough of low pressure approaches.

Forecast for eastern MA, RI, and southern NH…

TODAY: Mostly sunny. High 85-90, except cooler (mainly 70s) where wind comes off the ocean water. Wind SW 10-20 MPH with higher gusts.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear. Low 60-65. Wind SW 5-15 MPH.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. High 75-80. Wind W 10-20 MPH.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny. Low 52. High 65.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny. Low 42. High 64.

FRIDAY: Partly sunny. Low 44. High 64.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy. Chance of showers. Low 47. High 61.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy. Chance of rain. Low 46. High 57.

  1. Thanks TK !

Mt Washington at 45F this morning.

Here comes that +30F temp anomoly day around the region. Add in another +20 to +25F tomorrow and +7 to +10F for Wed-Fri and I suspect that most climo stations will be sitting at the Dec – Feb avg of +5 to 6F by weeks end. Unbelievable.

  2. Good morning all- Enjoy summer today!

Now if you believe the ECMWF Ensembles a lot of the wet weather that was originally going to be here mid-week will now hold off until the 2nd half of the weekend or later. Also if you believe those ensembles once the wet weather sets in we will be in for a 10 -14 day period of much above average rainfall.

I do have some confidence in the ECMWF ENS, so if I see it stick to this longer term thought for 3-5 days I will develop a little more faith.

I do believe that Atlantic ridging will delay the weekend rainfall, but I am not sure I buy into the 10-14 day onslaught of wet weather that is too follow. Too many times there have been hints of this, only to be pushed off further and further or the copious amounts of projected rainfall diminished as the time draws closer.

    1. We are armed and ready with fertilizer and grass seed and will put it on the lawn the day before any expected rain. As you said – too many events have just disappeared as the time approaches!

      1. I think I believe in that 10-14 day stretch of wet weather about like I believe in the tooth fairy. That said, I do see where we could get a couple days of rain sometime next Sunday into Monday, but that’s a week away.

    2. I know we need the rain but i need it to hold off until my family and i get the patio done

    3. I think we are cool and unsettled next week but I think rainfall is near to below normal.

  3. GFS does show an Omega blocking pattern for the week of the 23rd. That usually means coolish 50’s and wet weather. I’d take it for a week or so now if we didn’t see it in June like we seem to have the last few years. That weathers ok for late April early May, but it’s the pits in June!

  4. Thanks TK.
If were going to get an all day washout to help with this drought it better happen this month or May because once the summer months hit its rare to have an all day washout and will have to depend on those hit and miss showers and storms for rainfall.

    1. Im not sure thats really true anymore. Look at last June. We had about 9 straight days of cool, wet weather. June 09 is burned into memory too. There have been several June’s in the last few years that have been really wet with several days in a row that could be considered washouts.

  5. Tom, we were at Rexhame Beach this morning from 7 to 8:30. It was a little cool at first but with the wind at our backs and the sun in our face, it warmer up quickly. The kids had a blast!

Vicki, we went to the Corner Cafe for breakfast on the way home. What a terrific place!

    Thank you both!

    1. Coastal you remind me of when our kids were young. Beach early. Wish I’d asked you to say hi to owner of cafe. They are great people. If you can try their grab and go chicken parm. He knows me as Humarock person from Framingham 🙂

      1. Excellent Coastal ! Glad it worked out !! We are headed out to lunch and then onto the beach for the afternoon hrs.

    1. I’m in Woburn, 75 here as of 10:30AM. Sounds like a sensor placement issue. Should not have gone from 68 to 79 between Weston and Burlington.

      1. Getting same reading on phone Could have picked up asphalt heat but should be case further north. It’s a car thermometer but is never more than a deg off from hone. I thought it seemed odd too

        1. Asphalt heat is a likely reason. Your warmest readings came in an area that the asphalt is newer and darker.

                1. LOL

Perhaps some time you can see exactly where Woods Hill Weather is. Hint: I’m on a hill. 😉

  6. Figures we get a possible period of cool and unsettled weather, just in time for my golf league to start…awesome.

Just hit 80 in Walpole. Wonder how much warmer it will get. For some reason I can’t see 90 though. We shall see!

      1. Hahaha, i guess I shouldn’t complain. It gets me outside for some exercise and fresh air, and of course some good times with the co-workers. Last year was miserable early in the season though.

  7. The drier the ground stays, the easier 90s will be reachable under the right conditions as we head into the first part of summer. Unlike last year, when the ground was wet, it won’t take much work to heat up the dry ground. Moist ground takes much more work to heat and this impacts the temperature of the air near the ground.

      1. It’s gorgeous today. Marshes look awfully dry here. No way we will go to beach. Parking lot overfilled.

      2. Near to below normal temps & below normal precip in June/July. Above normal temps & above normal precip in August.

        1. And if we have a tropical threat this season, it’s August or September but odds don’t favor it, as activity should be below normal in the Atlantic.

    1. I find that very surprising. I was under the impression by all mets that no chance whatsoever of a sea breeze for east coastal areas.

      1. The SW gradient is taking its time tightening up, making the sea breeze barely possible.

      2. Thank goodness for the seabreeze! Really. Not only refreshing, but also health-saving.

Unfortunately, I think there may be a tragedy today, perhaps more, as it’s brutally (too) hot to run 26 miles, and especially with the numbers of runners at the start. Back in 1976 I remember it being hot, but at least with only a couple of thousands runners at most the scene along the route of heat exhaustion, depletion, and exposure illnesses was manageable. I think it’s going to be really bad today, unfortunately.

Long-distance running was not meant to be done in these temperatures.

  8. I just heard on Ch. 5 news that more than 3,000 runners decided not to participate in the Marathon today.

  9. I wonder why they didn’t decide to start the marathon earlier in the day this year when it would have been a lot cooler. I know they stagger the stages of the race with the wheelchairs going first, but it seems like everything could have been moved up by at least a couple hours. Most other races that I’ve been involved with started around 7 or 8am.

    1. You’re right, AceMaster. Certainly an earlier start would have helped. I really hope that the runners make it unscathed. I know that weather is beyond the BAA’s control. But, they could have instituted an earlier start, and I actually think that having only 100 EMTs at the ready is too small a number, especially during the peak time of heat exhaustion which I predict will happen between 2pm and 3pm. Usually, there’s overkill at these events in terms of ambulances, police, etc …, but I think that many EMTs will be used today.

      1. Thats one of the reasons they were encouraging people who weren’t in top shape to not run due to the fact they did not have enough EMT’s on site to handle the potential problems.

Just read that a few of the top runners have already dropped out during the race to seek medical attention, including the mens defending champ.

  10. This morning while watching WBZ, I noticed that the starting line in Hopkinton could use some fresh paint. It looked quite worn near the edges. At least the finish in Boston looked fresh! 🙂

Of course with today’s temps…that is the least of the BAA’s worries. I am just making an observation more than anything else.

  11. Mike Wankum has the rainstorm for all day Saturday. I hope it can be delayed until the evening.

TK, what are your thoughts on timing on rainfall this upcoming weekend?

    1. I don’t think we get much rain this weekend. Scattered showers under 0.25 inch Saturday, patchy light rain/drizzle under 0.25 inch Sunday. Obviously, days away, and it can change, but that’s based half on science and half on just the theory that Barry & I share: All systems fail in a drought. And we are, indeed, in a drought.

  12. it is now 85 degrees outside rising there is a small breeze coming off the brush but it is not doing much to cool things down.

  13. guess at the risk of upsetting someone, but here goes.

if someone passes out or worse from running today, its a bad thing, but its their own fault. They knew it was hot, they took the risk. Whatever happens, happens. I cant feel too sorry for them. They had a choice.

    1. I agree with you. Nobody is forcing anybody to run. You go out there on your own, and you assume the risk.

    2. Only you would say that. Have a nice day. There are people running for charities who like myself had little running experience but were doing to help sick people, and those sick people are scattered throughout the course hoping to see there runner pass by, many with the child’s name and picture on the runners shirt. These runners trained hard for there sponsor. If the patient does not give up, why should the runner. Next time think before you post. I ran in 2007 for a very sick kid who depended on me running in honor of him.

      1. People would give money whether someone ran or not. It’s down right stupid for an amature to run in heat like this. And if they stroke out and die, too bad for them. I won’t lose Any sleep over stupidity.

        1. Too bad for them. Shame on you. I’m disappointed by your posts. There are runners running right now for very, very sick kids. These families of the kids do everything possible to get there kid out on the course to see there runner, some are two sick. Another small ,child may not be able to go, maybe that kid is having chemo today. Get my message brad. But in your words if a runner strokes out too bad. You got kids brad. I do and he has a heart condition. How many running today are doing so for heart patients. You see brad many running today are not elite runners, but there willing to do anything to put a smile on a sick face and raise money for research.

          1. Then let them give money without an event. If they need an event to give money, shame on them. And why does it matter if I have kids or not? Irrelevant!! And yes I have 2

            1. Maybe running makes someone feel good? Ok, what good is that? Symbolism over substance as I see it. Sure, let’s run 26 miles so I can show how much I care. I may have a heart attack and leave my family without a dad or mom, but by golly I cared. (eye roll)

      2. My guess it was intended for people who are not running for a cause bc there are a lot of those people.

        1. If the wind is straight west, and with the secondary boundary still west and north of here, we may be 80+ in spots. I only have 75-80 as a general high temp but with the dry ground we may go over the forecast levels. I’ll re-assess tonight.

          1. Theres an old weather adage that holds true.

            Drought begats drought.

Not sure why, it just does. Fwiw, I actually think summer is going to be closer to 2010 than anything. Not sure I see an average July or August. Just a gut feeling not based on much else really.

  14. Crazy at the beach. We had a great lunch on deck overlooking ocean at tip of bearskin neck. Sea breeze very strong. Temp 64. When we came back by beach two trucks were lined up removing cars

  15. I’m going to have to disagree re runners. These runners train endlessly and travel great distances. Charities started coaching anyone running for them a week ago on how to deal with heat. People do sports of all kinds from skiing to football and on and on and get hurt. All have inherent risks. If I agree with you brad then I wouldn’t drive a car either. I admire all the runners perhaps none more than those running for charity and would feel tremendous sympathy for anyone hurt

      1. I just have zero sympathy for stupidity. And no, they dont have to run….at all. I have no sympathy for any person who does any kind of sorts that gets hurt. It’s their choice.

          1. No, not coordinated enough! You just seem like a person who has sympathy for a lot of stuff, that’s what I meant. Me? I’m a hard hearted sob basically :). I actually give a lot to charity, but I couldn’t care a wit whether someone runs a race, hops on one foot, or stands on their head 24 hours or not. If I want to give money I will. I don’t need an “event” to give money.

            1. Sadly many do need an event. John has already attested to what the marathon accomishes. You are right about me and I wish all runners Godspeed

  16. What is the temp. It was low 70s in Beverly and says 79 cOming into lynfield but don’t trust this car on highway. My phone says 90 Framingham.

  17. So far the sea breeze is holding up in Boston. The last obs. I saw was 79 and ENE 7. This “bust” of a forecast temp might end up being a nice break for the runners. 🙂 However, I suspect those who finish late afternoon around dinnertime will not be as lucky. Sooner or later that coastal front will have to shift offshore.

    1. Bust was just in Boston right? My guess is damage done before they reach seabreeze. Many elite dropped out including last years winner

  18. What happened to the Sox bats today? 😡

It may be time to get rid of these early 11:00 am Patriots Day games. Back in the day these games would start at 2:00 pm. Perhaps they should just start at the normal typical 7:00 pm timeframe like the rest of the league. Most Marathon activity is long gone by then.

I believe that the Red Sox have a losing record on Patriots Day games since the switch to 11:00 am. Since crowds and traffic are an issue, perhaps it might be better still if the Sox just play these games on the road. Most tourists are for the Marathon anyway.

    1. But should the time affect a true athlete? Maybe those of today. I’m
      Answering my own question 😀

    2. The Rays figured out the Sox were stealing pitching signs for the first 3 games and switched it up…now it’s back to the real Sox! 😀

  19. redoing the patio in 80 and 90 degree heat is not fun and with a pool that is open with a solor cover on it warming it up. I am really tempted to jump in

  20. Temp has now officially cracked 90 in Hartford (BDL) as well as at Fitchburg and Norwood. 91 in Westfield!

  21. I’m beginning not to like the tone of some of the posts, especially today on the Marathon. Call me soft-hearted, but in my view, even if someone does something that is risky or even wrong (such as run in a Marathon on a hot day, irrespective of whether he/she is doing that for charity), if that person winds up very sick or, God forbid, dead, I’d feel terribly for that person and his/her family. I would hope that we humans would have compassion, first and foremost, and leave opinions on how someone should have acted for future lessons, not judgments about a person’s “stupidity.” Yes, I feel sorry for the smoker who dies of lung cancer, or mountaineer who dies climbing Mt. Everest or Mt. Washington for that matter, or the person who dies of AIDS. Unless a person is truly bad, I will always have compassion for that person. Why? In part, because I (as Jew, by the way!) take Christ’s dictum “let he who has not sin cast the first stone” seriously. We all make stupid mistakes, risky moves we shouldn’t have, and blunders in our decision-making. Let’s not pretend we’re superior and waive our moral imperative to be caring.

    1. I said it was my opinion. You don’t have to like it or agree with it. Believe it or not, I’m not the only one who feels this way either. In my opinion, we’ve become a society of wimps. How I wish it were 1950 again.

      1. I agree Joshua.

Brad, I don’t think anyone has an issue with anyone else’s opinions on here. That’s the great thing about this blog. I think the discontent and sensitivity comes from the tone of the delivery of the opinion. Unfortunately, in this written forum, its difficult to determine mood and emotion, but from the way posts come out, its how they were interpreted. Not saying u had a negative intent in ur posts, but I think it is how they were perceived, and in this forum, we have nothing to go on except perception.

        1. What tone? Opinion is opinion, period. I said what I believe and i’d say the same thing in person the same way. I make no apology for not bring a bleeding heart and think that people should take responsibly for their actions. You should interpret my posts exactly as they are written. I make no apology and no one should expect one.

          1. You have every right to voice your oppinion. You knew your post might upset people and you chose to still do it. Some of you new people that have come here have been upsetting with some things that you post, not caring about the the bloggers who have been here since day one, I am talking too you brad. If this blog continues to let trash talk continue it will loose great people, I wonder w hy old salty left. I suspect for this reason. I knew people running today, and your comment of who cares if they get sick or stroke out is compleatly disturbing and wrong. And to boot you standby your words.

    2. Joshua I agree. I thought of you and your daughter and my son and many others who hike and who enjoy other pasttimes and in doing so enjoy life to the fullest. I give them all the highest praise. I’m not being soft hearted although I am. I am admiring those who have the commitment and love for what they do

  22. I am a believer that a 3-4 day rain event is in store between April 21st-24th, ocean temp is a balmy 52 degrees and some places off the coast of RI are in the mid 50’s!! Have a good day everyone 🙂

  23. Brad, you’re correct that I don’t have to like what you’re saying.

But, having compassion is not “wimpy” behavior. And, although many of us (myself included) would fare just well if it were 1950, blacks, women, and gays, are (mostly) happy it’s 2012 and not 1950.

  24. And now hack to the weather!

Besides. I thought you weren’t going to post anymore till winter since you don’t like summer. 🙂

  25. U guys both have your opinions, this is what makes the world turn, I’ve got probably one of the biggest mouths in this great world and I voice opinions all the time, as long as its civil and not name calling its all good 🙂

    1. My mouths huge too Charlie! 🙂

I guess I’m a throwback in some ways. I was born 100 years too late, really. Sometimes I just don’t like the modern world, political correctness, the idea if you don’t go along with group think your wrong, etc. I’m not an empathetic person except for my own family, and then it’s pretty tepid:)
I’m basically for rugged individualism. I just feel like that society does a lot stuff for the sake of making themselves feel better and not really doing much. Kinda like the running thing for a cause. It makes the runner feel good, but as far as raising money, you can do that without running yourself to a stroke and making your own kids fatherless or motherless. And what good would that do in the end. So would I feel bad someone died, ok maybe for a minute, but in the end it was their actions that killed them, so no, my sympathy Veda very very quickly. As I said, back to the weather.

      1. Ummmmmmmm hellloooooo. No one has ever known me to hold back an opinion. However no one has ever doubted what I’m thinking either. I am an open book, heart on my sleeve kind of person. You know Popeye I am what i am 🙂 And speaking of that alisonarod has been away far too long

  26. 94 here. House has been shut up all day so it’s lovely inside. We are keeping windows closed and running ceiling fans. Light breeze on deck is nice too. Great fun day if you can sit and enjoy

  27. Pete b has rain – and maybe a good dosing – sat sun and mon. I hope so

Btw. I was very well behaved when his forecast for 80s was questioned last week. Now I will be not so well behaved. 😀 😀

    1. Yes, and he actually has hinted at a hotter summer. He hit the winter. He actually hits more than not. Some may not like his style, and i know some people are in love with Barry, but for my money, I’ll take old Pete B any day of the week to get it close.
So we shall see on the rain. Pete, dont let me down man, i’m sticking my neck out here for you!

      1. That’s what’s funny. I can’t understand what is not to like about his style. Although I like many others equally. They all get it wrong and they all get it right. Pete just Makes me smile

    2. Both Pete and Todd say 1-2″ of rain for this weekend into early next week. Hopefully the main rain holds off for Saturday. It can rain all it wants to thereafter. 🙂

  28. A new record of 87 at Logan today…had that “surprise” sea breeze lasted much longer the Boston temp forecast would have been a bust. Since I don’t like hot weather, it wouldn’t have bothered me in the least. Hopefully no serious heat related injuries to the runners today.

    1. Philip I was surpised to see that on the news. I thought the breeze might have kept it below record in Boston too.

  29. Huge temp difference earlier today from house to beach. At house, it was 82F. On shore road at noontime, it was 61F with almost a due east wind. About 3pm, the wind switched to more southerly and instantly, it felt like the temp jumped 15F, within seconds. The ocean water is numbingly cold. Somehow my kids got in, but ankle deep is all I could do.

Never seen so many people at the beach so early in the season. It was great.

    1. It is cold but it’s like 2-3 degrees above normal and is in the low and mid 50’s last I saw

    2. I’m glad you got there. It was fun going to cape Ann and I like cape cod but both only remind me how much I love your area. Tomorrow will be another beach day. Enjoy!

  30. Fire in woods around my daughters house. She said they cannot see smoke any more so hope it’s under control. They packed up stuff this afternoon in case. I sure hope it rains soon

  31. Somewhat surprising that Pete did not mention the weekend at all in his evening blog. I was hoping that he would have given some insight into the potential rainstorm even though it is still a number of days out.

  32. I have decided to take a break from this blog sadly. I have been feeling lately as to me this blog has changed, Its not the same and I see less posts from the veterans here. I hope when I return I will see some changes. Take care guys, go bruins.

  33. John I hope to see you back on the blog soon. I think you make great contributions. I always find weather blogs to be quiet during the spring months since the weather is not that exciting as during the winter minus this past one. Wait until we start tracking thunderstorms this blog will light up like a Christmas tree.

  34. It’s the 18z GFS, so take it for what it’s worth, but on it, that southern system does not really phase with the northern stream and as a result it stays well south of New England and it does not rain much here late weekend/early next week. Again it’s the 18z run, but with the drought and all, this scenario wouldn’t surprise me at all.

  35. Johns just mad at me, that’s all. Seems to me like you guys have about 5 or 6 people who post out here and basically feel like its your own personal blog. I’ve gone back over the last year or so and see the same people agreeing with each other, and generally saying the same thing over and over.
So the owner of this little space on the net opened it up to others and it seems some of you don’t like it much. Ok, I get it. New people, interlopers and all. So now one of you don’t like another opinion so he’s gonna pack up his toys and go home. That’s fine too I guess. But if the owner of this blog actually wants other people on here, things will be different I’m sure. If he wants to kick me off here, he can. He owns it, he can do what he wants. Just seems to me some of you don’t like views other than your own. Like I said, the guys welcome to email me and tell me to get lost or he can delete me. The blog is basically weather anyway, but I have seen others give opinions on other things and I didn’t see anyone pick up and leave. Like I said, TK doesn’t like it, he can delete me.

  36. Not speaking for John but I think he is very upset with Brad’s comments earlier about having no sympathy for people that suffer from marathon related injuries, death. I also think that he may feel disappointed with the lack of outrage by bloggers here to brad’s ignorant comments. This blog is filled with political correctness, which makes or breaks a blog. It’s been working well for this place but it is definitely taking a turning in my eyes with additions with anyone with the qualities and opinions as Brad.

Basically Brad said if you run a marathon to raise money for anyone with a life threatening illness like little Giovanni Guglielmo and are injured or died from marathon related injuries that he has no remorse for them and they deserved to die. Tk agreed with him which puzzles me.

    http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/30899439/detail.html

    1. Coastal I think several spoke up with regard to brads comments. I also think controversial topics don’t belong here. It’s weather. Brad I don’t remember anything controversial being discussed in the past and if I missed it then my guess is it was innocuous. Maybe I’m wrong. Ive been known to be often enough It’s hard when your comments are directed specifically at someone. I felt your comments regarding charity were directed at John today and the discussion you had with me was directed at another a few days ago. An opinion doesnt mean singling someone out. And thats my opinion only.

And that – I hope – is all I will say. It’s TKs decision but for me i like weather here and other discussions on blogs designed for debate

John I will repeat that I feel losing you is very sad. Please please please reconsider.

    2. When some one runs a stupid race when they don’t have to, and keel over and die, no, I have no remorse for them at all because they didn’t have to do it. Now, if an iron worker on top of a steel structure passes out from heat stroke on a 90 degree day, now you have my attention and sympathy.

So now I see you guys just don’t like other opinions, period. If anybody comes on here that doesn’t have group think, then we can’t have that.

And for what it’s worth, Old Salty left way before I ever posted one thing.

      1. Brad, your a narrow minded disgusting individual and your back tracking on your earlier comments. You made mention to why run just donate the money. Wouldn’t it be something if you or a loved one comes down with a serious illness and needs an event like this to raise money to find a cure or pay for medical bills. Wouldn’t that be something!

          1. Nope, nothing like that. 🙂

FWIW, I never bashed anybody or called anybody names. Too bad you can’t say the same thing. You have a nice night now..
Btw, I’d be happy to take your email addy and continue offline.

      2. I don’t its true that people don’t like other people’s point of view. A couple months ago we had a discussion about global warming and people had different views and no matter where they stood on the issue their opinion was respected.

  37. And John its your buddy’s birthday. It’s supposed to be a happy day. Please give him a big hug:)

  38. Goal….Bruins ! Yahoo !! Goal…..Caps ! 🙁

How about a deep breath everyone ? Our back and forth is deteriorating to something that we are all better than.

  39. It is so nice down here in southeast Mass this evening. While our house is retaining some of the warmth from the day, that southerly wind has brought up some cool air from the ocean to our south. While its still 80F in interior New England, it’s not much more than 60F down here and it feels great.

    1. Tom we sat on the deck with candles lit for a long while. it’s lovely. I’m a bit worried about the wind with the fire behind my daughters home. But hot cold or in between it’s a great day.

      1. I hope the fire situation is under control soon……….I love that in April, one can be outside into the late evening and the bugs are not bad. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, I drive my wife nuts not wanting to be outside much in the evenings, because it’s either the Mosquitos, no see-ums or green heads that attack relentlessly.

        1. We feel the same way. And at the end of the summer there is EEE and west Nile. And I’m almost afraid to say but the over abundance of mosquitoes we had a few weeks ago may have died in the few frosts we had. Yay

    2. Especially considering that I was a dope not using much sunscreen today and am burnt…the cool air feels good ! Goals coming quickly now ! 2-2.

      1. Oh shame. I told everyone that TOM said on woods hill that sun is equal to August so use sunscreen. Not kdding No one listens if i just say it I’m not telling them you didn’t.

  40. We need to learn to be nicer to each other when having differing opinions.

And yes I agreed on the principle of when it comes down to it, you do anything assuming the risks that they present. I never said I don’t have sympathy.

I realize many people run for causes, and I support that idea.

That’s all I’m saying on this. Back to the weather for me.

    New update soon.

Bruins are getting stronger. Expect a win in this game.

  41. Here’s a few things I think we see on tomorrow’s 0z and 12z runs

    1) the continuing slow warmup of Thursday and especially Friday’s temps. Seems the last day or two, those forecasted temps have been rising a degree or two each day. I’m starting to think by the time Friday actually gets here, it’s going to end up being 75F to 80F.

    2) solutions that will begin to project much less of a rainy Sunday/Monday.

    1. I agree with you on Friday, Tom. Not sure whats going on next weekend, but going with the pattern, a soaking just doesn’t fit.
Enjoy tomorrow, going to be a great day.
