    1. Loved this..Thanks Captain!! Also while watching I noted Wayne Carleton and saw I got his number wrong…he was not 14 but 11.

Also this song was used on TV 38 for a some of the Bruins Playoff games during that same time period. They basically used just opening and ending of the song and not the drum solo πŸ™‚

  1. I heard on WEEI this morning that Rajon Rondo (Chicago) is out for the rest of the postseason. What exactly happened to him?

If this is old news, forgive me. I work weekends (F/S/S) and barely able to get scores let alone sports stories.

    1. Any sun down your way? Kids heading to Veronica’s to pick up cake for four year old party tomorrow

Hope you are continuing to enjoy your vacation !!

      1. Back in Marshfield. No sun, in fact, just had a heavy rain shower.

Enjoying the last of the break. Trying to motivate myself to finish grading a test and need to plan out the week’s classes. πŸ™‚

    2. Doesn’t do any freakin good near the coast.

I now return you to you’re program in progress.

  2. For five bonus points, anyone know the actual name of the Channel 38 Bruins song?
    (No cheating on Google search!!!)

    1. Now you got me…..It’s on the tip of my tongue. The strange thing is I remembered the name of the other song (how else could I have found it LOL).

  3. Today’s hockey discussion brings me back to watching the Bruins on a small black and white TV on Channel 38 which was on UHF. You had to have a round antenna to get UHF. Growing up in Mansfield, we were just on the edge of the broadcast. Most of the time, there were ghosts on the screen meaning that there were 24 players on the ice, not including the referees. Never mind trying to follow the puck.

Fred Cusick and Johnny Peirson were an awesome play-by-play team.

Used to spend my Saturday early afternoons watching pro wrestling (Pedro Morales, Bruno Sammartino, Chief Jay Strongbow) and “Creature Double Feature” on another UHF station, Channel 56.

    1. Yup, remember that. I Picked up a UHF Bow type antenna with some coaxial cable and installed on the roof on top of the regular TV antenna and ran it down to the TV. That brought me a decent picture. πŸ˜€

  4. 0.67 inches here over the last 24 hours or so and it is stuck at
a Shitty disgusting 46 Degrees! I HATE IT!!!!

  5. Bruins have never won a postseason series when trailing 3-1. There is always a first time for everything so will see what happens.
8pm can’t get here soon enough to watch my Rangers and hopefully I will be watching the clinching game of the series. I don’t have a good feeling about having to play a game seven Monday in Montreal if they lose.

        1. I laughed really hard at some. It is something I would have done in high school. But I was never that clever

    1. I think I may have submitted one or two of these πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  6. Vicki, Your post reminded me of when the MCAS first started. My son was at the high school and had to take the math MCAS. Now, he was a great student and that’s not just his mother talking. But the question…there was some data and he was asked to make a “bar and whiskers graph”. His response…”I can make all sorts of graphs, but I am sorry, I do not know what a bar and whiskers graph is”. And, apparently, neither did anyone else. And now, bar and whiskers graphs are part of our curriculum. I’m not sure that’s a good thing.

      1. I’m laughing at your comment.

And I’m also laughing because it took me a minute to remember how you knew about my glasses πŸ˜‰ I like them. They don’t get as dark in the car as outside but they seem to get dark enough. Thank you for asking

  7. Erin Moran has died. Too young. And too many lately. This was the tweet from Henry Winkler

β€œOH Erin… now you will finally have the peace you wanted so badly here on earth,” Winkler tweeted. β€œRest In It serenely now.. too soon.”
