  1. A few days ago Philip asked what I thought was an excellent question. What else could the WH and Biden do

The WH released a statement that Biden has a very rare Paxlovid rebound. I wasn’t sure what more it could do when Philip asked. My first thought now is stop sugar coating and be honest.

Does Biden have an Ill informed team of advisors? Or is he shying from the truth? Rebound is not rare, yet I’ve heard the words that it is rare parroted far too many times

    1. I need to read slower.

“What else could the WH and Biden do?”

When I read this perfectly clear sentence, I skipped over “the” and thought you were asking what Woods Hill and Biden could do!

      1. Hahahahaha. Well, woodshill might be better advisors than he has. So that isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.

        1. Example. Because I tend to post too quickly and then have another thought

How long has Joshua been saying we are not addressing monkey pox as it needs to be addressed. Every health expert I follow is now saying the same. I don’t know if Biden (who I voted for and support) is trying to make things seem “normal” or if his advisors and our health agencies are really that out of touch.

          1. I think your last sentence is what’s going on. There’s a `need’ to show normalcy has returned, particularly in the lead-up to the midterms. I think that if it was November 10th of this year, the Administration would respond differently, be more sober about it all, less happy talk, and more clarity. But, politics often get in the way.

Right now, the Administration is not dealing with any of the public health crises very well. This includes opioids, by the way. I do think there are very capable people in the Administration. I think they’re all working hard. But, their messaging isn’t consistent, isn’t in line with scientific evidence, and is too infused with happy talk.

  2. If I remember correctly, during the early period of the pandemic, isolation was for 14 days. Maybe there should be a compromise of at least 10 days?

      1. But is the medical community as a whole feeding our leaders the proper guidance? I’m not certain they have a total handle on things either.

        1. It’s science. Like weather, there’s always room for error.

As long as we leave the politics and hype out we’ll be ok.
The problem: The population (as a whole, not all of us) can’t seem to do that.
