You can guess, 1, 2, 3, 4, or all of the cities – that’s up to you!
Final guesses must be made by the end of the day on November 30 2025.
Good luck!
SAMPLE FORMAT
Boston: AA.A
Worcester: BB.B
Providence: CC.C
Hartford: DD.D
Concord: EE.E
Yo! Here’s my go at the snow!
Boston: 46.6
Worcester: 68.7
Providence: 44.4
Hartford: 58.5
Concord NH: 67.8
Interesting. Thank you. FWIW, I will be going lower.
So your guess for Boston isnt in your own projected forecast range?? 🙂
No. It’s in the range. What you saw there was a typographical error (4 instead of 6). I’ve fixed it. My guess sits at the bottom end of my range.
Weak ENSO and easterly QBO should work in our favor and I will go out on a limb to say we will have a good stretch or two this winter where they will work in tandem with -NAO, -AO and favorable MJO to produce some snowy stretches.
Boston breaks the 6″ snow drought this December and a good chunk of SNE sees a White Christmas. We will also break the streak this winter and see at least one big East Coast storm that drops a widespread 12″+. We are overdue.
Boston: 49.0
Worcester: 74.4
Providence: 39.1
Hartford: 55.5
Concord NH: 68.9
OK, here goes. This is more a gut feeling than anything based on Science, but a little of that thrown in.
I fear the Pacific influence as well as the South East Ridge, therefore, I am going lower than average as follows:
Boston: 32.4 inches
Worcester: 51.1 inches
Providence: 26.7 inches
Hartford: 30.3 inches
Concord, NH: 59.6 inches
I am thinking middle of January the streak ends and Boston will have a 6 plus inch snowfall. BDL in CT has not had a foot or more snowfall since February 2021. I think that streak continues this winter
Boston 36.3
Worcester 51.4
Concord 60.5
Hartford 41.1
Boston: 60. I hate to say it. I’ve seen too many rain cycles this year to think that the precip pattern won’t repeat and give us a few blizzards. (Not guessing the other places because I only focus on boston)
Boston: 34.7 in
Worcester: 49.3 in
Concord, NH: 47.5 in
Hartford: 39.8 in
Marshfield: 29.5 in and 2 “snow” days, 1 for snow and 1 for trees down and coastal flooding.
Got everyones
Thanks! Just give a check here now and then to make sure it’s all falling into place. Looks good so far.
Boston: 56.2
I can’t believe I’m participating in this contest again after a number of years. This number is double last year’s (28.1”). They are due.
I will continue to post “the count” until April 30, 2026 or until Boston gets its 6 inches in one event. ❄️ 😉
That count will be ending this season, shy of reaching the #1 spot. 🙂

Boston: 56.2
Sorry. Just double checking. Just Boston is absolutely fine. Just checking to be sure
I have enough to do just figuring Boston, let alone the other cities. I have no idea their snowfall averages. 😉
