DAYS 1-5 (JUNE 19-23)
The next three days, we’ll sit south of low pressure in eastern Canada, which will slightly drift its way southward. Another low pressure wave slides southeast of our region today, and this will toss some high clouds across the sky, filtering the sun. Some fair-weather clouds pop up during the day as well. As high pressure builds to our south behind the departing low pressure wave, the surface pressure gradient between it and the low to the north will generate a gusty westerly breeze today which continues Saturday before diminishing late in the day. We’ll see additional pop-up “mostly” fair weather clouds Saturday, but I cannot 100% rule out a spot shower especially over the hills to the north and west of Boston. Sunday’s weather will feature less wind but more clouds eventually popping and this prompts me to add the chance of scattered showers and even a possible thunderstorm to the forecast that afternoon and early evening. Even with that, the majority of the day at any given location will feature rain-free conditions. The summer solstice occurs at 4:24 a.m. EDT Sunday. Monday we watch a wave of low pressure that has a decent shot at bringing a more widespread rainfall to the region. Over the next couple days, fine-tuning the low’s expected track will help with forecast details for this system, which will depart Tuesday when we see fair weather return.

Wordle 6, barely hung on with this one
You got, so that is good!
Great getting it. Even with four letters it took quite a while for me to figure out
I got Wordle in 5.
Anything that wasn’t a word when my high school English teacher, Miss Tracey, prepared us for the SAT vocabulary section isn’t a real word!
🙂 🙂
Nice 5,
I oddly felt the same way. My Katy Gibbs spelling, sylabification and economics teacher would agree.
Miss Tracey. Hmmm Our daughter is named Tracy. 🙂
Good morning and thank you TK

One last patch of snow remains at the bottom of Superstar at Killington…

Only 4 months till they start making snow again 🙂
And Jay Peak is re-opening tomorrow for their annual Summer Solstice skiing event.

What great fun. Will you head to Jay Peak ?
No, it is mostly an event for the snowboarders. They uncover a big pile of snow they stockpile during the winter and then spread it out on one of the green trails near the base and put a bunch of park features on it. I am too old for that!
Got it. 🙂
69/58. Love it
Thanks TK! Summer party continues with USA vs. Australia and more US open golf – this is arguably one of the top weekends of the year. Enjoy!
Reports are the ocean monitoring system will not be ended. Do we know if it is still operable?.
