No significant changes to the ongoing outlook – just a little timing tweak for slightly slower / later on shower and t-storm chances for today and Friday due to the slightly slower movement of the associated disturbance, which keeps the chance mostly to the west later today and coverage fairly low through Friday. This means despite the unsettled weather chances, most of the time through Friday we’ll have rain-free conditions with varying amounts of cloudiness and fairly warm, humid later summer conditions. High pressure controls our weather with fair weather and lower humidity for this coming weekend, before the next disturbance in a northwesterly flow brings a shower and thunderstorm chance back by Monday.

The Red Sox-Yankees 4-game series over the weekend will consist of a doubleheader on Sunday. Hopefully the Red Sox can at least split the series. Otherwise, catching the Yankees will be unlikely in the division and would be forced to play another WC in New York for 3 games for the 2nd consecutive time.
Either way, it’s time for the team to put their “road warrior” caps on.
They have a very good away record this year. Doubleheader is Saturday. We have tickets, as it is the makeup game from June 6th. My family laughed at me then, when I told them when we come back to New York we will have a much different record.

The NFL has been struggling with the Pro Bowl for more than a decade. Player and fan interest is non-existent and viewership is at some ridiculous low point. It was inevitable and probably 5 years overdue if not more.
The leadership can’t quite let go yet. They will still name 88 players to the Pro Bowl this season even though there will not be a game.

I’m SO done with the White House antics and sycophancy that I tune it out completely and have done so for many months. I wish the media would do this, too. Don’t show up at the Oval Office for so-called Q&A periods, in which the answers are meaningless and the insults, juvenile. Don’t write about him. Don’t broadcast his picture or disseminate videos of him. Nothing. He’s not worth it. Frankly, nor is any politician these days, but Trump is especially unworthy of our attention. Most importantly, there are FAR more relevant things going on in the world that have NOTHING to do with him or the executive branch. I do pay attention to global events or domestic ones that are not related to what our executive branch is doing.
