DAYS 1-5 (OCTOBER 5-9)
An ocean breeze yesterday deposited some higher moisture levels in our area, and a calmer wind overnight allowed a lot of stratus clouds to form, and in some areas patches of fog. This will break up as the sun rises today to reveal a sun / cloud mix as a cold front sweeps across the region from northwest to southeast. I am not expecting any rainfall with the front, just a quick pick-up of wind from the southwest, which will then shift to northwest. This allows us to get milder today before a cooler air mass arrives. We feel that cool shot during the day Tuesday, which will have plenty of sun but a cool breeze and temperatures that fail to hit 60 or barely get there where they do. The breeze drops off as high pressure moves overhead at night and sets up the coldest night of the young autumn season so far, with inland lower elevations potentially seeing their first frost of the season Wednesday morning, before we rebound to a milder afternoon with abundant sun that day. On Thursday, a brief warm-up occurs before another moisture-started cold front switches the wind back to northwest and delivers slightly cooler air for Friday.
TODAY: Lots of clouds and patchy fog early, then a sun / cloud mix. Highs 62-69. Wind SW quickly increasing to 5-15 MPH with gusts over 20 MPH, shifting to NW.
TONIGHT: Clear. Lows 40-47 except 45-52 urban centers. Wind NW 5-15 MPH.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs 56-63. Wind NW to N 5-15 MPH.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Clear. Patchy frost inland low elevations. Lows 36-43 except 43-50 urban centers and immediate coast. Wind calm.
WEDNESDAY: Sunny. Highs 60-67. Wind variable up to 10 MPH.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows 42-49. Wind SW 5-15 MPH.
THURSDAY: Sun and passing clouds. Highs 66-73. Wind SW to NW 5-15 MPH, higher gusts.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Clearing. Lows 42-49. Wind NW 5-15 MPH.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs 60-67. Wind NW 5-15 MPH.
DAYS 6-10 (OCTOBER 10-14)
Saturday 10/10 & Sunday 10/11 look dry, sunniest Saturday followed by increasing cloud cover Sunday. We’ll be watching low pressure to our southwest that may receive an infusion of Gulf moisture and bring a rain chance to our region October 11 and/or 12 followed by clearing toward the middle of next week. Temperatures somewhat variable but averaging near to slightly above normal.
DAYS 11-15 (OCTOBER 15-19)
One unsettled weather threat somewhere mid to late period, otherwise mostly dry for much of this period. Temperature near to slightly above normal.

NIce win by the Patriots. They needed that big time. Now perhaps Maye can get untracked. Was it perfect, No, but it was good enough. No team can be perfect all the time.
Excellent 3, JpDave !
Thanks TK !

Just didn’t see it with what I had and once I saw what it was, it was so obvious. Oh well 🙂 Today was my Jacksonville game 🙂 🙂 🙂
Sorry, Tom. You won’t miss the train tomorrow.
Hopefully, lol !!!!
