High pressure brings fair weather today into Monday. Low pressure drifts slowly up the East Coast late Monday through Wednesday, cut-off from the main flow and slowly weakening with time, bringing unsettled weather along with it. The departure of these systems can be hard to time, but currently expecting it to do so during Thursday as a very weak system, bring replaced by a warmer southwesterly fair flow.
TODAY: Mostly sunny. Highs 52-57 coast, 58-65 interior. Wind light N in the morning shifting to SE up to 10 MPH.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows 36-41 interior, 42-47 coast. Wind light variable.
MONDAY: Sunshine followed by increasing cloudiness. Highs 55-60 coast and 60-65 interior but may cool somewhat during the afternoon. Wind light variable morning, SE 5-15 MPH afternoon.
MONDAY NIGHT: Thickening overcast. Chance of rain favoring southern MA, RI, CT. Lows 43-50. Wind SE to E 5-15 MPH.
TUESDAY: Overcast. Rain/drizzle likely. Patchy fog. Highs 46-54. Wind E 10-20 MPH, higher gusts possible.
WEDNESDAY: Cloudy. Episodes of drizzle/rain. Lows 40-46. Highs 47-55.
THURSDAY: Clearing. Lows in the 40s. Highs middle 50s to lower 60s coast, middle 60s to lower 70s interior.
