Just prepare for the worst, and if the best happens, great. There is NO epidemiological reason for the U.S. to escape at least a ripple/wave from BA.2. It’s hitting the UK. It will likely hit the US. I don’t think it’ll be a major wave or a lengthy one. But, any resurgence isn’t a good thing. In some places, this will be felt worse than others, like it is in Britain at the moment.
