    1. Longshot,
looking over the 12z NAM, you should be rain free, maybe a drop or 2 could sneak it’s way into the ball park, but nothing that would require an umbrella.
temps should hold in the low to mid 50’s, but the humidity should make it feel a bit more comfortable, despite a brisk wind off the water.

      Hoping for a win tonight!

  1. today’s long range 12z GFS is quite entertaining, particularly the last 4 to 5 days of its outlook, when it retrogrades a low pressure area from east of New England all the way southwest into the appalachian mtns. Sure. 🙂

  2. Up until now I always assumed that any wind off the ocean during the spring would be chilly, but today the winds are brisk from the SE and not too bad. I only needed a light jacket compared to Sunday when the wind was brisk from the NE, I wore a heavy jacket and baseball cap wishing that I had my winter coat and knit hat instead.
Amazing even in spring that a SE wind is actually pleasantly cool. Of course in winter, both NE and SE winds are equally miserably cold.

  3. Today’s CPC outlook still shows below normal temps and above normal precip as it has for quite some time now. We have had somewhat chilly times but rainfall hasn’t really materialized. Keeping my fingers crossed that Mother’s Day can be a nice sunny and at least “normal” one temperature-wise. 🙂

    1. Jimmy, I noticed that as well. I really doubt anyone will fall for it now that we are in May. However, it could become problematic should the “imposter” start putting out fake thunderstorm forecasts like you do on your scale index.

I suggest you keep tabs on the WBZ blog this summer…just in case. 🙂

  4. Philip I hope the people who are on the BZ blog will know the difference between me and the fake one since I will not blow anything out of proportion like the imposter will when it comes to thunderstorms. I just reported the comment and they removed it and hopefully other people will report garbage comments.

  5. Hi all! Sorry for being an absentee today. My agenda had me everywhere but here until now. Going to update the blog.

Scott, thanks for covering the question regarding the Sox game!

  6. I just heard from a friend who has an equestrian center in Dillsburg, PA – outside of Harrisburg. He said they had a tornado about 1/4 mile from his place yesterday. He didn’t think there was any damage to homes or people. Just a lot of trees down. He said it was the first tornado in 25 years. Odd weather.

It hasn’t rained in Framingham yet but it keeps getting quite dark as if it is going to but then brightens.

  7. heavy rain in Framingham now but didn’t last longer than about 10 minutes. Came down so hard for a few minutes that it was partially frozen.

  8. Pouring in Sudbury now – the sky gets alternately dark and light, meaning the light actually. It’s a low overcast so you can’t really make out many clouds.
