Mid-Weekend Update

7:30PM

Greetings readers! Hope you are all enjoying the weekend. Today was nicer than I had forecast, but no complaints, right? I’d rather be wrong that way than have forecast nice weather for it only to turn out bad.

Awesome bank of fog/stratus rolling westward across Metro Boston at this time (Saturday evening 7:20PM as I write this). This is a signal of a cloudy/cool Sunday ahead. But I do not expect any rain. Warmer times are ahead again for part of next week. Details to come, including a look into Memorial Day Weekend on tomorrow’s blog. But for now, here’s my best ideas for the next several days for the Boston area…

TONIGHT: Becoming cloudy. Areas of fog. Low 45 to 50. Wind E up to 10 mph.

SUNDAY: Cloudy. Areas of fog near the coast. High 50 to 55 coast, 55 to 60 inland. Wind E up to 10 mph.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Cloudy. Areas of fog. Low 45 to 50. Wind SE up to 10 mph.

MONDAY: Cloudy. A few periods of light rain possible. High 60 to 65. Wind SE 5 to 15 mph shifting to S.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny. Low 56. High 81.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy. Showers likely. Low 55. High 65.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy. Low 51. High 66.

FRIDAY: Variably cloudy. Chance of showers. Low 55. High 71.

  1. What is it with the Bruins and “3-0” leads? 🙁

Also, sunshine coming through just now in Boston…still very chilly.

    1. Thomas is letting in soft goals that’s what is happening. He did the same thing last Saturday night. If I were the coach I would have benched him for the rest of that game only. They have come to far to loose by soft goals that should not go in. I love thomas, but he has been up and down in this series.

  2. Watching live coverage on The Weather Channel and keeping a good thought for the people of Joplin, Mo as extensive damage from a tornado happened. It really puts thing in perspective for me and why we really should not complain about the lousy weather we are having considering were not cleaning up from damage.
As for our weather there is a chance of thunderstorms in the forecast early this week but I am not seeing severe weather so I am only giving a 1 on the thunderstorm index meaning should thunderstorms materialize they will remain below severe levels but as always I’ll keep an eye on it.
