Went to the Newport vineyards, staying in Newport, wonderful weather temps have been in the 75-80 degree range, looks to be the same today. πŸ™‚

    1. B and D. One of them doesn’t have the choice I thought it should …but then my memory may not have the right choice either πŸ™‚

  3. Thanks for the update TK.

Starting out rather cool and refreshing this morning, but I guess that
    won’t last. πŸ˜€ 69 here a few minutes ago.

  4. I think it’s remarkable that all 4 Patriots preseason games were the top 4 most watched in the Boston/Providence market since the academy awards and Patriots Super Bowl last Feb. in other words the Patriots are dominating the New England televisions. πŸ™‚

      1. Me either. I’m planning the menu already as well. Although doesn’t seem possible football is starting again. Time flies.

  5. Up to 79

Just painted one of our decks. I was dripping with perspiration.

Very surprised to see dp only at 58. Must have been the Sun. πŸ˜€

      1. Lol I guess it’s all on opinion, same power as late March early April, if you consider that strong. πŸ™‚

    1. 84 here.

      Sun out very brightly.

I was going to go fishing again, but sun is just too bright. Perhaps later? Nah,
probably not. I ordered a new rod and reel for the Mrs. A lady rig even.
I think we’ll try next weekend. I had to hastily repair her rig yesterday.
It got trashed down in Lakeville earlier in the week. She uses a spin-cast outfit and won’t use a spinning rig. Considering the repair, she did remarkably well with it.

  6. Good afternoon all. Check out the Georges Bank buoy water temp79Β° south of Long Island 76Β°. I will be at the beach tomorrow to enjoy that warm water.

  7. Boston Buoy: Water Temperature (WTMP): 67.8 Β°F
Stellwagen Buoy: Water Temperature (WTMP): 67.1 Β°F
Jeffrey’s Ledge Buoy: Water Temperature (WTMP): 62.8 Β°F
Cape Cod Buoy (24 NM East of Provincetown): Water Temperature (WTMP):68.4 Β°F

George’s Bank Buoy: Water Temperature (WTMP): 79.3 Β°F

Well there it is: There is either something wrong OR it got hit with a potent
Gulf Stream eddy of much warmer water. This just doesn’t happen!!

Mauntauk Point Buoy (S of LI): Water Temperature (WTMP): 75.2 Β°F
That is Normal for late Summer. Perfectly normal.

George’s Bank buoy seem out of whack to me.

  8. Was at the pool all day and it could not have been more perfect. Looking forward to Thursday and all the games on Sunday and Monday night!!

  10. Tk I know it’s early but any chance next Saturday is dry all day and into the evening. My wife and I are spending the day and overnight in the city to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thanks .

    1. Happy Anniversary. Sounds like a great way to celebrate. Mac and I have been thinking of staying in the city one night.

      1. You should just do it. Believe it or not she was not on board it took a lot of convincing. I’m staying high end and eating high end.

    1. Yes there are. Mac is catching up right now to today as we were at daughters for steamers this afternoon. He was hoping Jordan Speeth (sp?) would play better. He figures he has played so well that eventually it catches up. Just lousy timing
