DAYS 1-5 (NOVEMBER 8-12)
High pressure dominates and provides fair weather for Election Day today. After a cold start, it will warm up nicely. If you have not already done early voting, please get out and vote today! A cold front passes through on Wednesday with a few showers, then fair weather returns for the end of the week including Veterans Day Friday. Parades and ceremonies should take place with dry conditions for this time of year. A cold front will move through Friday night and bring a shot of windy and colder weather in for Saturday.
TODAY: Sunny. Highs 55-63. Wind light variable to SW.
TONIGHT: Increasing clouds. Lows 42-50. Wind SW 5-15 MPH.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a passing rain shower morning and midday Boston-Providence corridor northwest, then a better chance of showers to the southeast midday and afternoon. Highs 50-58. Wind light W to NW.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy. Windy. Lows 25-34. Highs 42-50.

DAYS 6-10 (NOVEMBER 13-17)
Fair with moderating temperatures early to mid period. Rain risk increases at the end of the period depending on the development of a system from the west.

DAYS 11-15 (NOVEMBER 18-22)
Still looking at a risk of unsettled weather early in the period followed by fair and somewhat colder weather. Low confidence here.

  1. TJ, Euro usually starts to do better this time of year through Winter. GFS usually does some what better in the summer. At least thats how it seems to me.

  2. I will be very skeptical anytime the euro shows a strong low pressure on the east coast 5+ days out this winter

  3. This is not a snow threat. Hopefully though we get some much needed rain.
If your not a fan of winter your loving the new EURO monthlies that just came out.

    1. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Some positives …… I voted days ago, our Middle school is the voting location for the town and with the very heavy turnout, we have no school on year’s with a presidential election and it’s sunny and warm today, maybe a chance to visit the beach.

      1. I was surprised they have school in Sutton. Daughter and SIL had planned not to send their son because of the possible tension around the election. He wanted no part of that so off he went.

I know where I vote but have no idea where it is. We will head out to locate it in a few minutes. We would have left sooner but I’m hearing my grandson is in a time out 😉

        1. They didn’t tell him why he wasn’t going to have to go. I reread my comment and it sounded as if they might have. They never discussed the election with him for the sole reason that it sadly didn’t have a kid friendly rating.

            1. Grandson that went with daughter and me to vote, decided to vote for Marshall from Paw Patrol. Younger granddaughter going with her mom is voting for Hello Kitty. I think they are wiser than most of the adults!

  4. Phillip Here is a tweet from meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan about those EURO weeklies
New Euro monthlies = torch through winter across most of the US. We’ll see.

    1. they were saying that the Northeast/great lakes could be the exception and be normal to slightly below normal.

  5. Answer to yesterday’s AccuWeather Trivia Quiz.

So far, the only month in 2016 with a below average mean temperature is …
    A. February
    B. April
    C. June
    D. October

    The answer is B.

  6. Wife and I voted at 3PM with No line at all.

Now we wait to see if our candidate wins. I won’t say, but those who have been here
a while certainly know who is our candidate. 😀

  7. So the ECMWF decides to back off on the idea of a coastal storm late next week. What happens next? The 18z GFS decides to go with it after all.

This is why I’m glad that I only have to go out 5 days with most of my forecasts.

    1. And that’s also why the majority of my 6-10 and 11-15 days on here are 1 or 2 lines. 😉

  8. TK, the title at the top says Tuesday Forecast … I didn’t know you meant the weather. 🙂
